Janie and I have been dating for two years now and I am about to go to the rough nights premiere in two days! like what? I haven't told her yet but we are going to the premier and I'm terrified she doesn't even know we are going she also hasn't seen me recently due to me being everywhere with promotions so I thought I'd surprise her at work...she recently took up a job as a professor at a university she teaches psychology so I walked into her class mid lecture and every single one of her students heads turned she had her back to me writing on the board.i walked in and sat on her desk and told all her students to keep quiet when she turned around she carried on teaching me until the bell went as soon as her class left she wrapped her arms around me and I took it as quite a surprise I thought she never saw me "what are you doing here" "I've come to pick you up" "pick me up?" "Yep we are gonna get a dress fitted on you" "why?" "Because I feel like window shopping" "ok?" We ran out of the uni and eventually arrived at a number of dress shops and Janie was picking out the Ines she liked trying them on and so was I and Janie fell in love with this one.....

so the next day whilst Janie was at work I went and bought the two dresses and whilst Janie was on her lunch break I snuck into her room and hung the dress up on her door.
Janies point of view
Break has just finished and I have just walked in to a class full of students when one asks to borrrow a pen "for goodness sakes you need to bring pens"I say going into my cupboard when someone shouts "miss that dress would really suit you" "what dress?" "The one that's hung up in your cupboard" I walk back towards my cupboard and unlock it I look in to find the dress that I chose when Kate and I were shopping and there was a note attached to the hanger "hey babe put this on and I'll pick you up at eight my little treat" once I seen this I texted her "this dress?" "Yes?" "Is it mine" "yes" " no fucking way" "yes niw get teaching" later that night Kate came to pick me up just like she said she would but not like I thought she would she pulled up in a limo and held open the door for me when we finally arrived st our location I was amazed we are at the rough night premier once there we chatted with the rest of the cast and we also were drinking...a lot......
I got a phone call one that I have been waiting for for the past three weeks I excused myself and took it." Hello" "hello is this miss Janie McCarthy?" "Yes it is" "hi miss McCarthy we are here to tell you that we have Decided that we would like you to come and host Saturday night live" "oh my god no way?! Thank you so much!" I walk back into the venue with a grin on my face when Kate sees me"what's with the grin" "just I'm gonna be hosting the season finale of snl" "what?! No way?! Oh my god I'm so happy for you!" "Thanks babe I can't wait to actually work with you!"
2 weeks later Kate's point of view
It's been two weeks since Janie got the part on she and today's the day of the show I'm so excited I'm in my changing room getting changed for the monologue when Janie comes waltzing in wearing a red dress she stands behind me smiling "what are you staring at?" "Nothing just thinking..." "about what?" "About how beautiful you are when your wearing that" "are you saying I don't normally look beautiful" "no you just look amazing" she goes on stage and introduces herself and she begins telling some jokes when I hear my que and walk on stage "hi Janie?" I say staring at her "Oh hi kate do you remember a couple of weeks ago when I got mistaken for your ex girlfriend?" "Oh yah that was awkward since you are my girlfriend"and just as scripted janie looked st the camera then at me "urn no no I'm not Kate" "sh sh shshshhhhhh"I say as I licked her face "Kate Kate stop stop I'm not your girlfriend were did you get that idea" "my dreams" "what?" "What?" "I'm not even gonna ask" then just like in the script I force myself upon Janie kissing her I pull away and she says "wow! Nazim was right! She really does have a long tongue! Anyways we got a great show for you tonight Selena Gomez is here so stick around we'll be right back" the set begins changing while I run to get my shud makeup on we have exactly five minutes for me to be transformed into shud and once I'm don't I come out and kiss janies face she pushes me back "ew Kate?" I simply laugh and run on stage
Time skip to end of show
It's time for the goodbyes and Janie is saying how much she's enjoyed being here and I have made Cecily wear a shirt that I made I grab cecily and stand behind Janie I open Cecilys coat and point at her shirt which reads "I Kate McKinnon would like to ask a question....." I then took cecilys coat off her and spun her around so you could see her back "will you Janie McCarthy do me the honour of being my wife?" The whole crowd then erupts into cheers and screams Janie looks very very confused when she turns around and looks at cecilys shirt then turns to find me on one knee on the stage "Kate?" I just simply look at her "I will do you the honour" I jump up and wrap my arms around her as the credits are rolling everyone is hugging and congratulating Janie and I.....
An guys I dunno if I wanna carry this one on I have another Kate fanfic in the works and I'm just running out of ideas with this one let me know if I should carry on-g
