Sharna found Val in the sunroom after rehearsals.
Even though the house was fairly small, the previous owners had decided to build a sunroom where a patio originally was.
“Babe, what are you doing out here? It is storming.” Sharna accompanied him on the patio couch.
“I find rain oddly therapeutic.” He looked her in the eye.
“Where did that come from?” Sharna laughed at his spontaneous, scholarly comment and you could see the renewed sparkle in her eye.
“What?” He laughed back.
“That was not a Val comment! A Val comment would be…” She began to imitate Val’s voice, “The sound of rain is pretty chillin’, isn't it Shar?” She chuckled.
“M’kay,” He rested a hand on her leg. “One: I don't talk like that. Two: Rehearsals were long, rain sounds are ‘chillin’’” He joked.
He kept laughing and rested her head on his shoulder.
“It's cold!” She whined with a fake child's voice.
“Here you go, Princess.” Val pulled a blanket out of nowhere.
“Thanks…?” She laughed again.
“Babe, why do you keep laughing?”
“This...this moment is the happiest I've felt in weeks.” She blushed.
“Could you say, you feel chill?” He winked.
“Oh my gosh! Stop!” She laughed.
He laid a kiss on her lips and sat back on the couch.
A few minutes later, the rain let up, Val began to move inside, but stopped because Sharna had fallen asleep on his shoulder.
“I win. Rain sounds are chillin’” He settled back into the couch.

They didn't expect to wake up still in the sunroom. Val thought Sharna would've woken up in the middle of the night, and relocate both of them inside. But that didn't happen.
Val stared out the sunroom walls, looking at the morning sunrise.
“Shar, look! Isn't it pretty?” He shook her awake and pointed out the wall of windows.
She rubbed her eyes.
“Ohhhh, that's pretty.” She curled up in her blanket and laid her head back down on his shoulder.
They had one day off of rehearsals for pros, but Sharna still had rehearsals with James.
“Babe!” He checked his phone while he was hit by realization. “It's 8:45! You have rehearsals at 9:00!”
“Dang, you're right!” She shot up from the patio sofa and dashed inside.
“Shar, what do you need?”
“Nothing, nothing, I'm fine.”
“Babe, what do you need? Let me help you!” He tried to help her get ready before rehearsals.
“No, I'm fine!” She threw her hair up, slipped on a crop top and ran into Val’s car because her’s was in the shop.
Sharna had a problem with being late, she hated it.
Val drove down the road with one hand on her leg, trying to calm her down.
“Shar, it is fine, James was late yesterday, you're okay.”
“Val, James had a reason to be late! I don't! We just fell asleep on the patio and lost track of time! He's going to be mad at me!”
“Sharna, seriously, he respects you as a teacher, he won't be mad.” Val pulled up to the studio at 9:25, kissed Sharna's lips and dropped her off.
Sharna dashed into the building and threw her stuff down in a hurry.
“James! I am so sorry! I just realized what time it was, because Val and I fell asleep in the sunroom last night and--”
“Shar, it is okay, you look the most rested you have in awhile, you look the healthiest you have in awhile, you're perfectly fine.”
“But I'm taking rehearsal time from you, and--”
“You're good, seriously.” James reassured her.
“Okay, let’s tango. One more rehearsal, dress.”
“Yep…” James sighed in an anxious state.
“You're nervous aren't you?”
“You can tell, can't you?”
“Yeah. I mean…”
“You mean…?”
“Nothing, let's go.”
“What?!”
“Purple monkey dishwasher.” She said to avoid the subject.
He followed the code word and hit frame.

Val: Hey, Shar, on your way home, could you pick me up some bacon?
Sharna: Sure, Love
Sharna knew about Val’s slightly unhealthy obsession with bacon. She thought it was getting out of hand, but she bought bacon for him anyways.
Sharna: How much bacon?
Val: All of the bacon
Sharna smiled at his use of her favorite quote.
She only bought two packages of bacon then headed home.
“You and your bacon!” Sharna exclaimed as she walked through the door.
“Yes! Thank you, Love.” He kissed her lips.
“Between bacon and Krispy Kreme, I don't know how you're still so skinny!” She chuckled.
She watched as he cooked the bacon then devoured it.
She laughed every time. She's never seen anyone that addicted to bacon.
“Do you want some bacon, Shar?”
“No thanks.” She laughed again.
“Alrighty, more for me.”
