You know those movies and shows on Disney channel that give us a taste of what High School will be like. It's like this alternate universe where you become a teenager and guys find you irresistible. Where you have your first kiss and your dad is perfectly fine with it. Where you get your first job and its somewhere glamourous like a clothing or makeup store. Where they actually have a slow dance at a dance and the guy of your dreams asks you for a dance. Though that is a beautiful dream to look forward to, I am here to inform you that it's completely and utterly full of CRAP. I've never been on a date yet alone had my first kiss and the only music they play at the dances is mostly Trap music. Instead of singing a song that everyone knows and weirdly syncs to my choreography, I'm sitting in Math 2 away from my friends. We have a class project but, since I was sick yesterday, I couldn't get partnered up with them. I turn around and see my friend Luna look at me and give me a sympathetic smile and wave. Luna is the closest to me out of all my friends. She has orange hair and green eyes. She's really skinny but has a nice shape to her.  I wave back and then...

"Ms. Clark and Ms. Brown, would you care to share your conversation with the class since it seems to be way more important than the work I assigned." said Mr. Collins, my math teacher.

I immediately turned around not wanting to get in trouble. Luna, on the other hand, had other plans.

"With all due respect, Mr. Collins, we weren't talking. Instead of focusing on us so much why don't you grade those papers on your desk. You're very slow when it comes to updating the gradebook." Luna retorted.

"Ms. Clark you are way out of line! Would you like to be sent to the principal's office?" Mr. Collins said clearly agitated.

"What kind of teacher sends their beloved student out of class. How will I ever get this work done if you do that. That wouldn't be very smart, Mr.Collins." Luna said sarcastically.

She crossed her arms with a proud smile on. She had completely shut him up. I found his facial expression very funny. I made the mistake of giggling. One look at his face and I knew he was gonna unleash his wrath on me.

"You think that's funny Ms. Brown?? Well HA. HA. HA. Go to the principal's office. NOW." Mr. Collins said.

Great.

"Hello, Ms. Brown! Did you come to drop off papers or something?" Principal Kay asked.

I'm literally never in trouble. I keep my head down in class. One time my Cultural Studies teacher forgot I was in her class.

"Actually, Sir, I got in trouble..." I said very quietly because the words were foreign on my lips.

"Ah yes. Mr. Collins sent me an email. You don't seem like you would do something like this." he said while scratching his head." Oh wait! A Ms. Luna Clark sent me a message giving me the full story."

THANK GOD FOR LUNA.

"Well you can sit in here and help me file these papers. I actually have something I would like to ask you."

"What?" I said.

"We have a student that is new joining us tomorrow. I know it's short notice, but you have the highest grades in your class and you're not a problem student. Would you mind helping them out until the end of the school year?" He asked hopefully.

" Oh definitely not a problem!" I said excitedly.

Maybe she can hang out with my friends and I. I hope she's nice.

" Alright so I need you to be here before the entrance bell rings so you can give them a tour. Their classes are synced with yours so they don't get lost." said Principal Kay" Thank you again and see you tomorrow"

" No problem! Bye!" I said a little too loudly.

I was so excited! New student! I ran to meet my friends at our regular tree. I gave them all the details and we went on our way to my house.
