High School (NOT SO) Musical

Unbelievable

Ok.

So I don't know what just happened. I was just getting to know one of the nicest ,coolest people ever. I was just sitting at the table with all my hectic friends. A girl and her posse that I can't stand walked over to us. Next thing I know, my new friend is all "buddy-buddy" with my enemy.

HOW??

"Um...", I said hesitantly. "Okay, how do you know each other?"

"Why do you care?" said Veronica.

"I've known Ronnie since the sandbox! She was my best friend. Her dad got a job opportunity and she had to move away. Her parents weren't-" Shawn said before Veronica cut him off.

"Let's not worry about the past! How have you been?" Veronica said.

"I've been fine. Today's my first day and I met some pretty cool people." Shawn said." Especially Tiana."

I felt butterflies. Sure everyone says that's a good sign but I have just had a chocolate chip Frappuccino so, now I feel sick. 

"Sweetie, that's just lack of options. I really don't think you should be hanging out with them. They're bad news." Veronica said. "Actually I really shouldn't be seen by them. I've got to go but you're more than welcome to come hang with us."

Shawn nervously laughed and said" No thanks Ronnie. I'll catch up with you later."

"Ugh! Fine" Veronica said as she rolled her eyes. "Bye-bye Shawnie!"

I really do think I'm going to die. I mean how could this happen. They can't be friends. She'll just make him evil like she did Andi. One of my closest friends even though she's older. Andi was so cool and smart...and sweet. Veronica just takes everything and makes it bad. I can't let her do that to Shawn. How do I stop her?
