Jayden was just staring at Shawn with this blank look. I knew what the look meant because he's my brother but, Shawn didn't get the memo. He stood there coolly and said " Hey man, I'm Shawn." I was just taken back by the fact that Jayden's look softened and he returned the greeting.

"I'm Jayden, Tiana's big brother." Jayden said.

"Yeah," saidb Shawn," I heard a lot about you last night. I met Tiana at the ice cream place and found out she is my tour guide today.

"Oh okay! I was wondering how you knew her." Jayden says. They began talking and pretty much dodged my every attempt of joining their conversation.

"Well....I'm glad you guys met but we should probably start the tour. Our school is pretty big and we only have 30 minutes before the doors open fore everyone else." I said trying to hurry up. I know part of the reason of rushing them was to show him around but, for some reason it bothered me how quickly Shawn and Jayden hit it off. Maybe I was a little jealous.

"Well it was nice talking to you dude! I'll catch up with you sometime." said Shawn as I dragged him away.

"Sure thing, man." said Jayden as he drove off. I'm guessing  he was going to pick up one of his groupies. As I said before, those eyes attract too many girls and he's just enjoying it while he can.

Okay let's set the record straight. I am in no way, shape, or form boy crazy. Shawn is just one of the very small amount of cute guys who are actually not jerks. Seriously though, God bless my principal! Shawn and I not only share the same schedule but our lockers are side by side. I had fun on the tour. We were talking on a variety of topics but, it surprised me when I heard Shawn's reactions to our school. His family wasn't as well of as the other kids at our school. They couldn't afford the tuition so he was here on a scholarship that is given once a year. I won the scholarship last year so I was able to start as a freshman. I told him I was in the same position so I still think it's weird that we have a Starbucks in our cafeteria. We talked more as we walked down the hallway that seemed endless. Soon, we had finally reached the cafeteria again so we could get breakfast. I told him I ate earlier but, he offered to get me a drink from Starbucks and who passes up Starbucks!? I got a chocolate chip frappuccino with whipped cream and chocolate on top. I couldn't hide my excitement when I was handed the cup full of chocolat heaven.

"You seem really happy, sweet tooth." Shawn said laughing.

"You would be too if you tried one of these." I said.

"We'll see." he said. "I'll take one as well please.

I waited excitedly for him to take the first sip. I'm sure he noticed my anticipation because he started moving really slow to the point where I blurted out.

"JUST DRINK IT!!" I yelled. I was utterly embarrased even if it was just us. I've never been very patient tbh. He looked at me shocked and then laughed so hard.

"OK!OK!" he said. Then he took the sip we were all- well I was waiting for." Not that bad."

......really.....

"Is that all you have to say?" I said taken back with his choice of words.

"What did you expect me to say?" he said confused.

"Well..I don't know.... maybe....WOW THIS IS SO GREAT! I NEVER KNEW SOMETHING COULD TASTE SO ASTOUNDINGLY AWESOME! THANK YOU SO MUCH TIANA FOR OPENING UP THE GATES OF HEAVEN, PUTTING IT INTO A BLENDER AND CONVINCING ME TO TASTE IT!" I said. "Or something like that.

He bust out laughing and we made our way to my usual table. We were talking and then three people run up to our table and sit down. Luna and Mya come up to the table along with one of my other friends Michael. Michael has fiery orange hair like Luna's but, the hair isn't the only thing they have in common. Their attitude's are nearly identical. That's probably why  they argue so much. 

"Tiana tell Michael that if he doesn't want to be pushed he should watch where he's going when he's walking!" Luna said upset.

"Michael, if you don't want to be pushed, you should watch where you're going when you're walking." I said used to this.

"OH YEAH?! Well Tiana tell Luna she should get taller so I can actually see her!" Michael replied.

"Luna, you should get taller so he can actually see you." I said.

They kept aruguing and Shawn looked at me.

"Everyday?" he asked with his eyebrow raised.

I nodded. I noticed Mya was quieter than usual. She was smiling down at her phone and texting rapidly.

"You're texting Sam, huh." I said knowingly.

"No...." Mya said blushing.

"You reserve that smile for the special event you call interacting with Sam." I said. 

"Oh whatever! Drink your frappuccino!" Mya said. I laughed and then I saw Selena, Braxton and Sam walk in. Luna and Michael were still going at it.

"Hi Mya!" Sam said smiling. Sam has curly brown hair and blue eyes.

"H-hey Sam." Mya said nervously while looking at the ground. UGH! Sickening.

"Hey red heads! SHUT UP!" Selena said.

Thank God for her! They stopped and sat there pouting. Braxton looked upset about something.

"What's up with you Braxton?" I asked.

"My grade went down to a 98 in biology! That teacher is an abomination to my future!" He said quite angrily.

"Oh grow up Braxton I'm failing most of my classes. Does anyone want to know who this dude at our table is?" Luna said.

"Oh, I'm Shawn! Tiana showed me around today. I'm the new student." Shawn says. I don't understand how he could be so calm around my hectic friends.

"OH! Wait... Tiana he's not a girl." Luna says.

Shawn gives me a confused look.

"I assumed the new student would be a girl." I said giving Luna a look.

"Well, sorry to disappoint." He said laughing.

"Oh trust me, we're glad you're not a girl."Luna said." Now we don't have to worry about you becoming one of Veronica's minions."

"Speak of the devil." Mya says and we all direct our attention to the door.

Veronica walks in. She's skin that is obviously spray tanned and has thick, long, jet black hair. She only wears the most expensive clothes and only gives her attention to those who wear the same price tags. She walks over to our table and is looking straight through all of us...except Shawn.

"Hey cutie you're new." She says. "Wait a minute. SHAWN!?"

"Ronnie!" Shawn says with a voice full of happy surprise.

"Ronnie?" I say taken back.

"Ronnie??" Everyone says.

Shawn gets up and gives Veronica a big hug.

HOW! DOES! HE! KNOW! HER!???
