Chapter 11

Who would have guessed that his sweet intentions would end up being so sinister?

Rosalina moaned out in pain as she rubbed the heels of her small ivory feet. It felt like she had been running for ages and everywhere she ran to looked just like where she had come from. It was dark out now and Rosalina could barely see four feet in front of her.

Suddenly two bright lights let up the woods that was in front of her.

Car lights.

She smiled as she dropped her foot back to the mossy ground before she took off over to were she saw the lights. If there were car lights there had to be a road Rosalina thought and she was right. The dark green ground had met its end and Rosalina was met with the rough feeling cement over her swollen feet. She wrapped her arms around herself liking she was hugging someone as she looked down the road waiting for another car.

It had only been about ten maybe fifteen minutes before another car rolled down the road. It was a smaller car, it probably only fit two maybe three people and was a light grey color. As the car rolled pass her Rosalina walked over and began to wave her hands around till they stopped and backed up to her side.

"Can I help you miss?" A voice asked as the driver sides window came down. A shiver ran threw Rosalina as she thought about Noah.

She was greeted by a brown haired boy. He looked to only be around nineteen maybe even eighteen.

"Y-yes" She shuttered out. Instead of telling the light haired boy the Truth she looked over her shoulder and made up the best lie she could.

"My boyfriend and I got into a fight. A bad one." He nodded his head like asking for her to continue.

"He um kicked me out of the car. Told me to walk home, but I don't know where I am" She smiled at him as she rubbed her arms hoping he would by it.

"Oh, ah your in Winderxille" He said as he looked at the road then back at Rosalina before sending a smile back at her. She opened her mouth and found it hard to make words, but they soon came out.

"I live in Cypress" She whispered out still shocked that Noah had taken her to a town that was over ten hours away.

"Um If you want you can stay at my place. I'll drive you home tomorrow or if you want I can give you money for a train" He said as he sent her a nice smile. Rosalina nodded her head as he leaned over and opened the passenger side door for her.

She smiled at him again before walking over to the passenger side and getting in.

"you can burrow some of my sisters clothes" Rosalina responded with a nod as she looked out the window.
