The echoes of metal clashing against each other and cries of battle rang about within the large valley. Such a place would normally be home to creatures who could survive the plagues of intense heat as well as occasional plant life. An empty and quiet area, uninhibited by human beings- which ironically enough made it the perfect location for an all out war between such humans. The valley in theory would give not only the side of the army that knew it's layout an advantage, but they would also be used to such heated conditions since the desert was their home turf. The opposing army may have believed they'd cornered their enemies onto their own territory, however this was a simple tactic that the army excelled at. More specifically, the armies' commander himself excelled in. This technique was his favorite tactic in board games. The fake card. Commander Tsutari Miji enjoyed consuming his time in small board games and very much incorporated his play style into the way he fought in a true battle. Or.. maybe it was the other way around. It was not as if anyone could tell either way. This fake card he played was a luring type.
"Pretend to lose in order to bring in your opponent and then, you snap on them.", he always told the men in his unit confidently. An enemy is going to become much more obvious in their choice of action when they believe they're guaranteed a win. Similar effects apply to the person cornered, unless they are playing the fake card. Their opponent is not only susceptible to sudden altercations to advance, it is much easier to punish accordingly with their true might and possibly crush the enemy in one fell swoop. Of course the enemy has no choice but to take a single route. To advance and win in the 'final' attack.

The endless battle raged on, staining the sand with crimson liquid. Hundreds of bodies met with the dry ground, being stepped over by a group of soldiers, slamming their heavy blades against each other. Each one stayed alert, ready to deal the single blow that would kill the other. It was almost complete lunacy, knowing just a single piercing of the blade could end their precious life. It only created fear in the person, which was fatal on the battlefield. They would have to conceal fear with a calm mind, and to to focus on killing the other person. What was once a warm, living, breathing human being was just another cold bloodied corpse the soldiers stepped over on the field just to cause that number of corpses to pile up more. It was truly a nightmare. As the nightmare raged on, Commander Tsutari stood tall, residing behind the entire army, fairly away from harm's way. Though one should not confuse him to be someone who could not defend himself. Tsutari stood tall, nearly 7 feet, and while he wasn't exactly beefed with muscle he always intimidated those around him from his sheer size. As all members of the Miji clan, his hair was jet black, messy as if he never took the time in the morning to brush it, and while many knew this as common knowledge, all Miji clan members held crimson red eyes which were so opaque his pupils were colored red as well. This made his entire eye a single red color, but not many have seen Tsutari's face. He always wore a black mask only covering the top half of his face starting from his lower nose area. Where his eyes should have been was covered by the mask as well. As intimidating as he was, the man was nowhere near a serious person. He just like everybody else who were his allies wore similar uniforms to represent their country and the empire. The Spriggan, they wore black plated armor only to cover their shoulders, wrists, and below the waistline. Their chest area was exposed to show the emblem of the Spriggan for all to see. The sign of Omega, intersected with a cross and an opposite color, white to stand out on the black uniform. His chest area was infused with magic so even if he were to be attacked, the weapon would never be able to pierce through. Since the empire did not have enough power to create magic throughout the entire body, the armor for the parts that lacked defense.

Whilst observing the battlefield, a single soldier made their way towards his tall commander who was very fixated on the battle before him. It was almost as if he were waiting for a single blunder in his enemy. Like playing thumb wrestling and waiting for your opponent to make even a single screw up and to pin them down. Tsutari did not need to turn his eyes away from the battlefield to notice the presence of the soldier and began to speak without throwing off his focus,
"I'm guessing she's ready to deploy, yeah?", the soldier hesitated for a single moment, surprised at how quickly the Commander spoke up without even having to look at him. Tsutari taught his men to never hesitate and to always relay information with confidence, but whenever his men did not follow such rules, as rare as it was.. he never addressed it. Some called him lazy, he didn't care, he wouldn't baby his men.
"R-right sir," the scruffy looking soldier quickly picked himself up, "She is. We told her all that she needed for the counterattack."
A lighthearted sigh escaped Tsutari's lips. Just hearing that she was finally ready made him feel as though the entire war was now in his grasp. He wouldn't hold back now, it was time to end this. The commander lifted his single hand, signaling for someone. But who could possibly be able to see that in all the chaos of the battlefield? It did not look as though someone was close to the battle as well. Tsutari however was not binded by those restrictions, the person he silently called out to through his raised arm would easily be able to confirm it was time for them to show and to turn the tides of the battle. A loud thunder clapping sound filled the skies, disrupting the chaotic  battling below onto the surface. Immediately following after the clouds above  them parted and for all those below who were now staring into the heavens, could no longer look away. Before them was the strangest phenomena they'd ever laid eyes upon in their entire miniscule lives. In the skies high above was a single figure, a figure of a female ignoring the properties of gravity and parting the clouds as if they were just...in the way.  They could not just take their eyes off of her as if it were some minor event to ignore, they were stuck staring in awe. Thoughts began to ring about through their heads. What was she? Was she a being on their side, or the enemy? Little did they notice was that they stopped attacking altogether, giving their enemies the edge in the battle. The Spriggan army would not pass up on the chance to advance and turn the tides of battle. Blades pierced the flesh of their enemies, catching them off guard and snapping those who survived back into reality. This was war, and their actions may have confirmed their loss onto the battlefield. The being in the sky was not finished yet, her body launched towards the ground below herself, reaching immeasurable speeds in almost an instant. When her body slammed into the ground, it created a single crater below herself expanding several feet in radius around her and caused allies of the Spriggan and soldiers alike to fall into it. As the dust cleared, it was easier to see just exactly what this mysterious being was.. and in the eyes of the enemy, even her appearance gave little to no  answers as to her identity. Black plated armor could be seen being apart of her skin, making up the skin of her arms, hands except for her index finger which remained human flesh. Her upper torso, while it's skin was not made up of the black plating, she wore black armor atop her skin to cover her obviously voluptuous body. Her lower torso while it was exposed, one could infer that there was no way they would be able to damage her skin regardless. She wore a black armored skirt around her waist, which exposed the front side of her and defeated the purpose only if she did not have the black plate that covered her most private parts. Her legs to her bare feet's skin were completely armored plating- the exact same of her arms. Her hair was a beautifully silver color which shone brightly in the sunlight, her eyes a light blue hue she looked as though she was a young adult and honestly a beautiful woman.... if she was not a murder machine.
