Chapter 3

"You have bongs and pipes all over your room," Nico pointed out as Jason closed the door to his room.

"Yeah." Jason laughed. "If you're not comfortable with it, I'll put it away."

"Nah," said Nico, looking at a pipe that looked like a hammer. "Light that shit up and let's get lifted."

"Okay." Jason walked over to his closet, where he kept his weed. He just lived with his older sister Thalia, who didn't mind he smoked. He just hid it because she steals it when she has none. Yeah, his Dad was in the picture, but he was barely ever even home.

After an amazing dinner, Jason asked Nico if he wanted to come and hang out at his house and watch movies or just chill. At first, Nico was skeptical, but he gave in after Jason said that they would only do what Nico wanted and no one else was there, he gave in.

But when looking, Jason found his weed, yes, but also a couple of super high friends.

"What the fuck?" He jumped back, startled, and yelled, "Percy and Annabeth?"

Annabeth looked up at him. "Hey."

Percy smiled awkwardly.

Nico walked over to all the commotion. "Woah. Who are you?"

Percy held out his hand, "Percy and Annabeth. We're his best friends. We were going to spy on you two but Jason didn't know, ya know?"

Nico looked extremely confused. "No, I don't. I am not a creep who spys on people."

"Fair enough," Annabeth sighed.

Jason shook his head. "Get out. Go bother Thalia."

Annabeth beth and Percy dutifully climbed out of the closet and left the room.

"Sorry, Nico. I swear I had no clue they were there."

Nico laughed. "Its fine. My friend Renya is the same way."

Jason laughed too. "Maybe her and my friends can go spy on people together."

"Its a date." Nico confirmed.

Smiling happily, Jason loaded a bowl. He always loved the feeling of just crushing bud, feeling the happiness between his fingers. And loading it into the bowl, especially the hammer pipe. It was his favorite pipe, but Jason's heart forever belonged to his bisexual color bong. Or just bongs in general.

Meanwhile, Nico's face was completely emerged in the bag Jason kept his weed in.

"Don't you love the way weed just smells?" He asked Jason, a glazed look of happiness on his face.

"It's like heaven." Jason agreed. "You want greens?"

"How about we just half it?"

"Okay."

They smoked about three bowls. Just passing it back and fourth and coughing.

"Dude," Nico said, "humans enslave other animals who have feelings and no one stops it. Like, horses and stuff."

Jason giggled. "Man, that's fucked up."

Nico laughed too. "I know."

They looked in each other's eyes, blue to chocolate brown. Red and crinkled to red and crinkled. Then, Jason laughed. He found this hilarious. Everything was just funny. The boy he was in love with went out to dinner with him, and now they're smoking weed together, close enough to kiss. Isn't that amazing? Weed, Jason thought. Mary Jane fixes everything.

Nico started laughing too. Jason just looked so cute, happy and high. His eyes were sooo red and his smile was huge. Its was adorable.

Pretty soon, they just sat on Jason's bed laughing. It probably lasted for about 10 minutes.

"Best date ever." Nico said.

"Yeah let's do it again sometime." Jason smiled.

"Totally. I live next door. Come over anytime." Nico assured him.

"I'm thirsty. Let's go get some water." Jason said.

"Okay. Maybe food too." Nico said, standing up and then falling down.

With a thud, Jason heard "I can't feel my feet".

He started laughing all over again. " Come on, pot head, let's go to the kitchen."

Nico got up and followed Jason downstairs.

Thalia, Percy, and Annabeth were there, smoking a blunt.

"Hey, loser." Thalia greeted, passing the blunt to Annabeth.

"Sup, lesbo." Jason shot back.

"You say it like that's a bad thing." Thalia shrugged. "Who's your boyfriend?"

"I'm Nico," Nico replied, holding out his hand.

Thalia shook it, smirking. "You're also higher than the sky."

"Jason is a terrible influence!" Nico said, winking at Jason.

"That's a sex thing, I bet." Percy told Annabeth as he took the blunt.

"Well," sighed Thalia, "I would get it out of your system. I just got a text from dad. He'll be home any minute."

"Then put the fucking blunt down and air the house out, you dip shit!" Jason said in alarm.

"Oh yeah." Thalia giggled, as if this was just news to her. Jason rolled his eyes. Of course now his dad had to come home. Fucking prick.

Percy took one last hit and stomped out the blunt, flushing it down the sink. Annabeth opened the kitchen window and started moving her arms around, trying to get the smell out. Thalia was lighting candles and spraying Fabreeze.

"Who has eye drops?" She asked when the last candle was lit.

"I do, hang on," Nico answered, digging around in his pocket. From his left don't pocket he pulled out eye drops, but something else fell out too. Jason picked it up before him and looked at Nico, surprised.

"A condom?" He asked, barely restraining a smile.

Nico got beet red. "I, uh, thought this, um, night would go differently."

Jason laughed and then winked. "Play your cards right and it will go in that direction."

Thalia made a gagging noise as Jason pocketed the condom and Percy and Annabeth asked if Nico had any more.

Even more red, Nico pulled another one out of his pocket.

"How many are in there?" Percy asked, taking the rubber.

"I like sex, okay? There's enough!" He whispered, covering his face.

"Worry not," Thalia told him kindly, patting his shoulder. "You'll probably need everyone of those. "

Now Jason was red. "Stop. Please."

He took the eye drops and put them in. Everyone followed Jason's example.

Right after the last person put them in (Percy) and they were giving back to Nico, the door opened.

"I'm home!" A deep voice called from the doorway.

"A month later." Jason called back.

There was a laugh, bags dropping, and heavy foot steps getting louder the closer he got.

When Jason's Dad appeared in the kitchen, Nico was startled. He was big and buff and mean looking. Especially in that fancy suit. He looked like a crime boss.

"Dad," Jason greeted.

His dad took one look around the room. "And you're all high. Lovely. "

Thalia sighed. "We tried to hide it."

"Do better. Who's the new kid?"

"Dad, that's Nico. " Jason said. "He's my..." He looked at Nico, looking for an answer.

Nico decided he liked Jason and could get used to this. "Boyfriend. " Nico finished.

"Cool. I'm Zues. My rules are no kids, which isn't a problem I guess, no sex in my car, and no diseases. "

Nico smiled. "Yessir."

Nico was glad he decided to go to Jason's house.
