Angel's Never Die.

||Prologue||

"Riley? Miss Lily wants to meet you. Please come to the office right now." A husky voice called out. I didn't bother seeing who is it was. Miss Lily wants to meet me? I did not do anything wrong. I was completing all my angelic duties on time.
Making sure all kids were sound asleep? Check. Making sure everyone here is content? Check. Making sure candy exists on earth? Check. Distributing rainbows?Nope.
I forgot to distribute the rainbows. The rainbow display. How can I forget? Miss Lily must be so angry with me. Timidly I opened the door to her cabin. I opened my mouth to say something but instead she called out ,"Ah ! Riley. Thank you for seeing me." What? Is she sarcastic? I mean I don't understand sarcasm all I know is that humans often use it.
"Riley? Honey? I have a mission for you. Only you are suitable for this task." A mission. For me? She must be joking. Her voice breaks into my thoughts. "You'll be sent to Earth to convert the newest shape shifter into an angel. But however if you fail in completing the mission you will never ever be allowed to enter this place again. You know the rules, don't you? You won't be a human or an angel. Well if you succeed you can choose between being a human or being an angel. Darlin' you have no choice." So basically she us sending me to a foreign place and expecting me too convert our arch nemesis to one of us? Is she kidding me? Well on the other it is kinda interesting. Its not like I have a choice. "When do I have to leave?" I questioned our supreme authority. "Tonight by the latest. Well you'll go by the name of Scarlett Rose, a high schooler. Your parents would be busy so they are never at home. You have to transform the famous bad boy, Trevor Reed into an angel. Alright? And yes, everything that you need is already available at your 'house'.You can go now. Well, meet me before leaving. " She replied in a gentle motherly tone. I silently nod and slowly get out of the cabin.
My best friend, Moanna flies over. Oh well, yes we can fly. We are angels and we have wings. I personally prefer walking though. "What happened? What did you do? Why are you a gloomy? Should I clean your aura? Should I? Come on tell me everything girl" She bombarded me with questions without taking a breath and without giving me a chance to speak. "Uh so.........I have been given my first mission ever." I drawled out. Well, considering the fact that I always forget to do one task or the another this is a big break for me. "Yess honey. This is your big break. You finally have a mission. I am so happy for you." She finally spoke. Ahaan. She has a special gift to read minds.
"Well I better get back to packing. See you son Anna." I said and hugged her.

My room feels different now. I don't now when I will come back here. Will I? There is huge possibility I don't. I came to this place about four years ago. This isn't heaven. This isn't earth. It is somewhat on between. Above the clouds. No one can see us. Let me rephrase that no human being can see us. Our superiors can. I was human too. I was a 'ball of sunshine' as people used to call me. I died at the age of sixteen. It wasn't painful. I don't exactly remember how I died. Miss Lily makes sure that we forget that part of our lives. Well I was chosen to be an angel for only one reason. I was cheerful.
After coming to this place I met others. We became a family, we still are. We have duties and missions to fulfill. I always forgot to do something or the other. Well what can you say? I'm sweet sixteen forever. We never age. We can't cry or feel emotions like humans do. Zipping my suitcase I fly towards Miss Lily's office.

I knock on the door softly. Miss Lily opens the door and welcomes me in. "Ah Riley. You are going. Thank you so much for doing this. This is really important for us.'" I gave her a weak smile and she continued, "But.There are a few things I'd like to tell you as this is your first mission." I silently nod and she takes it as a signal to continue ," Well number one is that you'll feel emotions like a normal human. You'll be able to cry. Feel pain. And every other another emotion. But. You might have to go through pain." Pain? I never experienced pain before in the last four years so I forgot what it feels like. Without giving me a chance to ask her what kind of pain she continues, " Not the physical pain but the emotional one. You might be hurt emotionally and not physically. I have everything planned out for you."
"Okay. How am I going to reach there?" I finally say and her eyes sparkle up. "Close your eyes honey. When you open them you'll be there as a human with no powers or wings. You'll feel tired. An emotion." I do as she says and my head starts spinning round and round.

I finally open my eyes and let it adjust to the surrounding. Well. This is place is huge and lavender coloured. I could get used to this. I roam around this place and find a kitchen with a stocked fridge. Three bedrooms with everything.Lavender sheets, Night lamps, fluffy pillows, some sort of disorientated form of art. A closet room full of clothes and accessories. From barbie pink to Beastly black.
I finally come to an hault and selected the last bedroom. I like the vibes in it. But due to constant banging and hammering in my head I feel sleepy. I jump on the softest bead and let darkness overcome me.
