Narrator's P.O.V
Nia found the data for Norman to destroy Monogram and isn't very enlightened by his plans. With this knowledge, she has as of now two objectives. To find the information from Monogram, and to stop Norman from reaching him before she can. If anything, she wants to be the one to take him and no on shall stop her.
Nia took her time searching through all of the data cores and found nothing interesting except that one on the second floor. The useless ones were nothing but party plans, medical prescriptions, paperwork, emails, and club funds. I mean really? Who keeps crap like this in data cores?! Anyway, that one data core she found had some very interesting info. There are some ideas of this high tech satellite built to be able to store up solar power. Once it collects enough solar power, it could release a ray that's hotter than the sun! What he plans on doing with this ray is to kill Monogram with it. He wants to find his airship and destroy everything with him. The ship, his belongings, his crew members, every speck to erase the history of the R.C.O.W (Revolutionary Constitution of Organic Weaponry).
But that isn't the only thing she found, high tech explosives, machine guns, remote control bomber robots, even a device called the cloning watch, a watch you could use to clone others and manipulate people with them, all inside the data core. Norman was a sick man indeed, yet Nia was still intrigued with wanting to know the secrets of his past with Monogram. With every bit of data stored into her worldwide launching cube.
Therefore after handling the data to the cube, she sets off to the main office. We believe there is supposed to be a meeting held in his office around this time and needs to get there before everyone to not arouse suspicions.
The door to his office was wide open and there were already five men inside the room. Norman sitting at his desk waiting for others to arrive doesn't seem so joyed. He sits with his leg on top of the other and his fingers folding onto the desk resting his head ever so gently onto them. As I climb onto the ceiling where the chandelier was located, I watch him very diligently. g Gently climbing onto the chandelier, five more men came in and shut the door behind them. Norman stood from his chair and steps in front of his guests.
"I am glad you guys showed up. I have some very important news. The ray will be finished by midnight, and my plans shall proceed as planned. Meanwhile, I need all the gadgets we've been working on to carry out our mission." Norman says joyfully.
Since Norman's speech, one of his crew members steps out of line and asks him "Yes sir, but if you don't mind me asking, just what is your past with this guy?"
Norman gave a small sigh and decided to answer his question.
"Well, I know you guys have been wondering so I guess there is no harm in telling you, so listen carefully. Monogram and I used to be close friends, almost as if he were my younger brother. We would work on preparing jets, repairing airships, and signed up to serve R.C.O.W along with a woman named Jane. The three of us were inseparable, we all had great plans for our future. Until Jane began to fall deeply in love with Monogram, and I started aiming for General of headquarters. The man that owned the company, General Myers was a wise man, but not wise enough. He saw me aiming for that spot, he knew I was trying non-stop to show him I was the rightful heir. But even so, he knew of me working long and hard, but that didn't mean Monogram wasn't his most favorite. He practically gave him everything including the general spot. I was the one that deserved that spot, not him! Not only did he take my life long dream from under my nose, but he also fiddled with poor Jane's heart for so long. While I was miserable and having to work under him, he manages to achieve inheriting multiple companies throughout the organization. I forgot his reasons, but I know everything went to crap because of him and his stupid ideas. Anyway, he arranged plans for us to meet up with him inside the office that should have been mine and we agreed to talk with him. I had even invited Jane to the meeting. He had the nerve to ask us to be his commanders, even after all the crap he pulled. We asked him why he did all of this to us, why he took away my dream, why he didn't except Jane's love. He pretended not to understand a thing we told him, he didn't even bat an eye! Irritated and frustrated, I lunged at him grabbing at his throat trying to knock him unconscious. But he found a way to kick me off of him, and I ended up knocking over the General's most priced watch display. Not only had I destroyed General Myers watch collection, we hadn't been told that he held a crate hanging above the ceiling until it fell and completely mangled my arm. That is why I have this prosthetic arm."
