"What the actual fuck are you two wearing.." I ask, in front of me are Annie and Katelyn decked up in David Dobrik merch.

"Our spy gear." Annie answers, They are both wearing black 'too much scotty' sweatshirts, black tinted sunglasses, black shoes and black surgical masks with a bear nose and mouth printed on them in white. Annie was wearing black shorts and leggings while katelyn wore black jeggings.

"I think you're over doing it.." I say, highly ashamed of them.

"No way, we look snazzy. Also look!" Katelyn reaches into her hoodies pocket and pulls out a david dobrik..ninja star?

"What the fuck!"

"See we took a David Dobrik fidget spinner and super glued the top inch of a knife onto it."

"My mom was super pissed!" Annie added feeling proud of their creation (what's sad is that me and katelyn have real plans to do that).

"When are you going to use that!"

"Life is full of plot twists brother, you'll never know out there."

"You're walking into a corporate building, it's that simple!"

"Security."

"What about them?"

"We'll need it for the security."

I sigh, "Fine do what you want."

"Yess!" The two girls pump their fists and rush towards the building.

"We won't let you down!" They yell and continue running for another minute before they get tired and start walking.

KATELYN

We enter through the automatic glass doors and walk into a snazzy looking lobby. The chairs are a velvety red and the carpets are jet black. There's a fountain on the wall behind the receptionist who looks bored and spaced out.

Annie grabs the bowl of mints off the counter and pours it all into her bag. She gives me a thumbs up and I roll my eyes. "Excuse me." I say tapping on the desk to get the ladies attention.

"Whatever, just go." The lady shoos us off and continues watching MTV reality tv shows from her computer. I look at Annie and she just shrugs so we decide to walk through the halls looking for him ourselves.

"So, what does he even look like?" Annie asks as we peer into every office, sometimes scaring the hell out of people.

"Umm, Eric said he was tall and has black hair and blue eyes." She nods and we take off looking for Lucas.

"May I help you two?" A deep voice asks. We freeze in place and slowly turn around.  A tall man with black hair and blue eyes is in front of us.

"Ohhh, Katelyn, this must be Lucas!" Annie practically yells. The man called Lucas raises an eyebrow but keeps a stern look.

"Ignore her, we're journalists and we would like to interview you on your company." I say rather nervously.

He nods, "Right, follow me." Wow that worked better than I first imagined! He leads us to a large office, obviously his, and opens the door. "Have a seat." He gestures to two red velvet chairs similar to the ones in the lobby.

Me and Annie take a seat and she pulls out her David Dobrik voice recorder. "So, are you gay?" Annie asks with so hesitation.

"what?"

"Do you like the same sex?" She asks again with the same level of shamelessness.

"Why?"

"Gay rumors are being spread about you, I just wanna know if they're true."

"Yes, I am gay." He finally answers. Annie thinks of a new question but I beat her to it.

"What are your thoughts on Eric Valladares?"

"He's a good kid."

"Do you like him?"

"I don't want to answer that." He states looking rather seriously serious. We decide to drop the topic.

"How old are you?"

"Twenty-six."

"When's your birthday?"

"December seventeenth, nineteen ninety-one."

"Hobbies?"

"Violin."

"Favorite color?"

"Don't have one."

"Favorite animal?"

"Cats."

"I think we have what we need." Annie says shutting off the recorder and slipping it into her pocket. Lucas shows us out and we wait for him to leave the building at the end of his work hours.

We hide behind a fountain on a landing that connects the stairs leading to the main entrance. It soon becomes eight pm and Lucas finally leaves.

"Here he comes." I whisper to Annie. We both take out our David Dobrik binoculars and watch him move to his car. Annie snaps a picture of his license plate and we walk back to Eric.

Eric

I watch Annie and Katelyn rush over towards me. "How'd it go?"

"It went." Katelyn says as Annie hands me the voice recorder. We all head to a library and Annie runs the numbers of the license plate on the computer.

His address, phone number and email all pop up. Annie then jots it all down on a notebook and hands it to me. "You're welcome lover boy."

"Thanks." I put the notebook in my pocket and head home, from there I listen to the recording and add his contact info to my phone.

I then decide to message him.

E: Hey Mr Grey

L:Who is this?

E: Eric Valladares

L: Oh hi Eric, how'd you get my number

E: I asked my mom.

L: I see

L: what do you need

E: You

L: what?

E: i hit send too early. anyways i'm tired goodnight mr grey

L: please call me Lucas, Your friends already do.

L: goodnight

I went red, How did he know Katelyn and Annie were my friends? Actually, after listening to the voice recording I'm not even surprised. I sigh and prepare for sleep.
