The morning starts like all others, I crawl out of
bed, exhausted and tired. I grab my phone to check my messages. I scroll through the spam that is my friends and it suddenly hits me, I have to
confess today.

"Fuck.." I sigh, "well a promise is a promise.."  I walk over to my dresser and open it, shuffling through all my T-shirts before I find a nice tuxedo T-shirt.

"This'll do." I say, slipping it over my head. I put on some dark black jeans and gel my hair.

"Where do you think you're going all dressed up like that?" My mom says standing in the doorway.

"Work." I reply with a straight face. My mom cracks a smile and begins laughing loudly. "What's so funny?"

"Do you seriously think that's proper work attire?"

"It's casual Friday, jeez.."

"First of all, it's Sunday, second of all, would Lucas even approve?"

"Uh, yes. I look classy mom."

"Whatever you say dear, don't come home early my boyfriend's coming over." She winks.

"Ew, yeah i'm not coming home tonight then." I say grabbing my backpack. As I do so I get a text:

A: We're here bitch.

"Anyways mom, my friends are here I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay sweetie, have a good time with your friends." She gives me a hug and I walk out to the front of the apartment complex and see Annie and Katelyn sitting inside of Annies Hyundai.

"Get in loser, you're getting a boyfriend!" Annie yells waving.

"Can you even reach the pedals?" I ask jokingly. Annie lowers her camcorder and rolls her window up giving me a blank bitch face. I approach the car and just as I reach for the handle Annie pulls forward. "Stop being salty and let me in!" I yell.

I get close to the door again and I hear the door lock. "Goddamn it bitch open up!" I hear laughing from inside the car and finally the door unlocks. "Damn, took y'all long enough."

"Don't complain in my car."

"At least I get all this foot room since you have the seat pulled so far up."

"It's not that far up! I'm only five one!"

"Exactly, shorty."

"I will crash this car Eric."

"Bet!"

"Watch me!" She yells, making the car swerve.

"Fuck Annie!" Katelyn yells. Annie laughs and continues driving normally.

"Damn suicidal." I say, she laughs and continues down the road to the corporate building.

"We're here." Annie says, pulling up to a stop in front of the building. She turns around, "Now get the fuck out."

I comply and open my door. They go to find a parking spot and I slowly make my way up the stairs of the building. I walk in and turn the corner towards the elevator when, i'm stopped.

"Name and business?" I turn and see a different lady at the receptions desk. This lady was elderly with white wavy hair cut into a bob. She also wore glasses attached to a pearl studded band to keep them in place.

"Uhh, what happened to the other lady?" I ask.

The new lady scowls, "That doesn't answer my question."

"Damn, then my names Eric, I work here part time."

"Language young man, you may go now." I roll my eyes and continue walking towards my destination. I get to the elevators and take them up to the top floor.  When I finally reached Lucas's office I peaked into the window, I see Katelyn and Annie disguised as window washers standing outside the back window. Annie was holding her camcorder and Katelyn was giving me the thumbs up.

Lucas was sitting opposite of the window, thank god, so he didn't see them. I take a deep breath and open the door. "Lucas!"

He looks up from his papers, "Oh hey Eric, how may I help you?" He asks, giving me the most beautiful smile ever.

Help me by railing me sideways on the desk daddy. "Uh, well you see, I-uh-I...Fuck it." I mumble and go in for a kiss. I can hear Katelyn and Annie's muffled screams from the other side of the window, eventually Lucas kisses back and wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

"Are you getting this! Is yOu rEcOrDinG!?" Katelyn yells.

"Hell yeah I am brother!" Annie yells back in a Hulk Hogan impression.

"Annie, I need you, to shut...the fuck...up." Katelyn says in a disappointed tone. I eventually tune them out and focus more on my kiss with Lucas, it's warm and it's amazing. I have never experienced something so nice.

"Annie, no what are you doing?!" Katelyn yells as I hear the window open and something, or someone to be exact, fall in. Lucas and I break apart and see Annie face planted into the carpet and Katelyn climbing in after her, awkwardly Katelyn bends down and picks Annie up, carrying her towards the door. "You kids have a good night." She says, embarrassed and ashamed in the smaller girl. She leaves the room and starts dashing towards the car.

"I should probably go after them." I say, starting to get up.

Lucas grabs my hand, "Eric wait," I stop and look at him. "I think we should be more than friends."

"Wait...What?!"
