Most people have a celebrity crush, and in the case of 17 year old Y/N Y/LN, it's Fifth Harmony, more specifically Lauren Jauregui. She, like most, thought she would never get the chance to meet the girl who meant so much to her, but all that change...
Over the next few days, Lauren's condition was quite erratic. At points it would seem as if it were deteriorating, then it appeared to be improving. We stayed by her side constantly night in, night out.
"NURSE!" Camila shouts, snapping me out of my trance. I notice Lauren's breathing is abnormally shallow. But before I could question it further, a nurse runs in and over to Lauren. After evaluating her condition, the nurse hooks her up to another machine with two tubes up her nostrils that looked very uncomfortable.

"Ladies, your friend's condition has declined rapidly. I have attached a respirator to help her breath a bit more easily. Please continue to monitor her while I call a doctor over to preform another assessment." The nurses. We nod and hurriedly leaves the room, coming back moments later with Dr. Girgensons. After examining Lauren once more, he turns to face us with a grim expression.
"I trust that you ladies have heard of a medical condition known as Pneumonia?" He asks.
"Yes doctor, but what has that got to do with Lauren?" Camila asks.
"Well, I believe Miss Jauregui has developed Pneumonia in both her lungs over the last few days. I will need to preform a CAT Scan to confirm my suspicions." He says. The six of us nod in unison. Lauren is wheeled out of the room, leaving us in dead silence. We don't speak over the next twenty minutes as we wait anxiously for the doctor to return.
"Girls, I have the results from Miss Jauregui's CAT Scan and to say it's shocking is an understatement. She has developed an advanced stage of Pneumonia, meaning the amount of fluid in her lungs could be fatal if not treated as soon as possible. Miss Jauregui will need to have surgery to drain the fluid before her lungs collapse. I need two of you ladies to sign the consent form for this invasive surgery." He says. Ally and Camila sign, Ally being the oldest, and Camila being the closest.
"Thank you. Miss Jauregui will be in surgery shortly. We will provide you with constant updates on her progress." He says before leaving quickly. The six of us make our way to waiting room, comforting each other. Ally leads a quick prayer, begging for Lauren's recovery. We huddle together in our seats to support each other as we wait for Lo. I notice two men with cameras suddenly enter the waiting room, and make their way directly over to us. Paparazzi.
