I go shopping for Jean's family because it's the least I can do. I buy them a brand new knife set for their lovely kitchen, and I buy Jean a new case for her i-Pad. She's been complaining about her dirty old one forever now.
Without really thinking, I buy Sunny a Christmas present too; a beautiful sketch book, an artist's kit, and a gift card to our favourite ice cream place.
If only I could give it to him.
