I felt this pulsing in my head and the more I tried to open my eyes the more the pulsing increased. I didn't care I have to open my eyes before I get in trouble. I finally broke open my eyes as I saw the white ceiling above me. The pulsing in my head quickly became worse. I let out a loud groan as I grabbed my head trying to rub away the pain. I turned my head to see the boy with amber eyes staring at me. Except they weren't amber anymore.
"Are you okay? How are you feeling? As soon as I saw you fall, I took you to the nurse. Is that okay?" He rushed all in one hushed breath. I pushed myself up and sucked a breath in and chocked out, "yeah. I'm fine. A tip though, I know your a werewolf. And don't freak out. I was one too." His eyes widened in surprise, but after I said I was fine, his eyes went back to there beautiful eye color they were before.
"Good. Now I can leave." I was a little stunned, but I didn't really care that much to be honest. I've been abandoned plenty of times. I've gotten plenty used to it. I pulled my legs over the bed as I put them on the ground. The nurse that was stationed at her desk was now up and asking me questions, "how do you feel honey?" I stared at her for a minute, but eventually said, "I'm fine. Can I go to class?" She nodded her reluctantly, but she let me go.
I left the bright yellow room and headed to my next class. Ap Biology. I looked at all the classes, till, I finally found the right room. I turned the cold knob and stepped into the room. Immediately I was hit with the chilly air, as I realized that this was going to be a class that was always cold. My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher acknowledging my presence in the room.
"How can I help you?" I looked at the man and handed him the note the nurse gave me before I left.
"I'm new." He gave me a curt nod and told me to take a seat. So far, this day has been eventful. The class seemed easy enough, as because, the teacher knew how to teach. I haven't seen the boy with amber eyes yet.
I walked into the locker room as the smell of new wax filled my nose. I slid my bag off my shoulders and unzipped the zipper. I grabbed this weeks gym clothes and pulled them on my body quickly hoping nobody would see my body. He would kill me. I turned around and luckily nobody was looking at me. I put my bag on the hanger and went upstairs to the gym. About five minutes later, all the rest of the kids showed up and so did the teachers."Attention! I am mrs. Kelly and I am the girls gym teacher. Next to me is, the boys gym teacher and he is mr. Kelly. Today were just going to play dodgeball. Okay? Kruger and Sinwell. You to are captains. Now pick your teams." I looked as my bubba walked up with a girl that had brown hair. They started picking teams and my brother finally saw me and smiled. He then chose me on his team and we were done. The teams went on there side of the gym and we started to devise a plan.
"Okay since we are playing capture the flag and dodgeball, we need someone nobody will notice." My brother scanned the group and his eyes landed on me.
"Okay sis, since you are new nobody will notice you since you haven't really been introduced to anyone. Are you up for it?" I opened my mouth to reply when someone spoke up, "Can you run fast?" I looked up at the voice that sent chills down my spine. It's the boy with amber eyes. I gave him the if-y sign and he just sighed and mumbled a, 'fine'. My bubba just continued to talk about making sure that the other team is well distracted. We finally broke away, and I can finally breath. The coaches blew the whistle and all hell broke lose. Balls immediately flew back and forth. At the same time, I saw people walk over to the jail. I knew what I had to do. I slowly walked to the side and faked throwing a ball at my team. I made it in ran to the back to grab a ball and then I eyed the flag. I quickly grabbed it and ran. I threw the ball at the kid who chased me and it hit him. Shocked, I ran faster. As soon as I ran across the line, my team cheered. I smiled, 'maybe this school won't be bad after all.'
I walked into the already packed full cafeteria, and I made my way to the line. I was intercepted by him. I gulped nervously, as I looked at his haunted black eyes.
"After French, your father would like to talk to you." I just nodded and picked up my food. I left the lunch room as I picked up my pace. I opened the bathroom door, only to be smashed into the floor and the food to smash all over me.
"Hey newbie! I need to set some ground rules, since you don't know them because, your new. " I glanced at the girl in front of me. She was the same girl as before. She is pretty tall considering she had three-inch heels. She had really pretty brown hair that stopped at her waist.
"One. Stay away from Brandon. Two. Stay away from me. Three. Never get in my way. Kapeesh?" I nodded. She stretched her shoulders back and barked out a 'good'.
"And if you follow, me and you might be friends. Key word 'might'." That was it. She left. I threw my tray in the trash. I crawled over to the mirror and stood up. I cringed at my reflection. My hair was tousled and messy. The spaghetti was all over my long sleeved shirt. I grabbed a wad of paper towels and set them under the faucet till they were soaked. I dragged them across my shirt countlessly until there was just a big red stain left. Thank goodness I brought a jacket with me today. I yanked it out of my bag and slipped it over my arms.
The bell rang to signal the end of French. My palms started to get sweaty again. Throughout French that was all I could think about. I slung my bag over my shoulder and started to make my way to the door. Nervously, I made my way under the stairwell by the art room. As the stairwell came into sight, I started to see the two people I hated and feared the most. There IT stood along with him. As he saw me approaching, he smirked at me.
"Well well well, looks like we have a trouble maker here." His demeanor changed from his sarcastic taunting self, to his killer venomous self.
"I told you. I told you to not make friends, and what do you do? You make friends!" I flinched back at him, which caused him to smile.
"Now, you have to fix this or you'll have to deal with me at home. Got it?!" He stared at me sadisticly, as I nodded. He gave me once last glance and strode away. I scrambled away as IT stared at me. I quickly headed to my class. I didn't realize how long that talk was. I didn't get a free period because, of the girl, and from that talk. I quickly grabbed my book from my locker and strode to class. Ap calculus. I looked at the name.
"Mr. Olverado." (All-ver-aww-do) I mumbled. I walked in as soon as the bell had rung. I scanned the room and the only empty seat was, in the back next to the boy with Amber eyes. I sighed as I made my way over to the seat. I was only about a seat away when, I was tripped and all my things flew from my hands as I fell. It was like lighting. One minute I was about to hit the ground, the next, I was in the arms of the boy with amber eyes. "Hi." Crap.
