I tried
Time and time again
I tried to write something happy
I swear that I tried
It's hard
In a world where so many bad things happen
In a world where I'm dealing with depression
It's hard to be happy when I know everything will go downhill
For a while it can last,
The happiness
But in the back of my mind
When I sit down to write
I always know
It won't be this way forever
Soon I'll be sad
Happens over and over again
Happy
Sad
Happy

I'll always end up being sad
No matter how hard I try
The happiness ends
And in the end I'm sad
