WalkingBlasphemy: This is not the original chapter I posted. Lately, I've been really off and a little depressed and the last time I posted this chapter, it came out half-assed. So here goes nothing. (And thanks to Pogo for giving me the motivation to start writing this again.. I dunno what it is about you, gurl, but you pushed me and I'm glad you did.)

Scotland*
"I'm not doing it," I said sternly, slamming my glass down on the table. Marilyn smirked up at me, the drugs in his hands.
"Why not? You and I both know what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
I made a face. "That rule doesn't apply to drugs, they only wear you down over the years until you're shriveled up and dying."
He frowned. "That doesn't sound like Scotland."
"I told you, Marilyn, you know nothing about me."
He rolled his eyes and huffed, "I know enough."
"Whatever," I scoffed as he inhaled his 'supplements' as he liked to call them.
Once finished, he looked up at me with a glint of curiosity. "Did you ever take those tests?"
I looked down, not a single jolt of shock reaching me. I knew I'd have to confess eventually.
"I, uhh. Yeah. I did. "
"And..?"
"Positive. All of them." Our eyes met. He set down his glass and gazed at me with an unreadable expression that I knew we shared.
"I'll pay," he said with a shrug. I lifted a brow.
"Pay for what?"
"For you to get an abortion. You're not having that fucker's baby."
"I don't need your money," I spat, "or your pity, Marilyn."
"I assure you it's not pity. It's me doing a nice thing for a nice girl."
"Out of pity."
He rolled his eyes in frustration. "Scotland, did it ever occur to you that maybe a little help wouldn't be a bad thing? Because trust me, honey, you're not going to make it on your own."
We sat in silence for ten minutes before I sighed. "Okay, fine. We tell no one. If anyone asks, the tests were negative."
"Fine by me," he mumbled, leaning back in the booth.
