Hide and Seek h.s

Chapter 3

After walking back to my house it was 2 pm. My parents were still at work until 6 so I decided to go out again.

I followed the road to the main part of town. I saw cute little shops and cafés.

I walked into a cafe and sat down with a latte.

I was scrolling through my tumblr when I heard a "hi".

I looked up from my phone to find a tall boy around my age looking at me. He had blonde hair, blue eyes and a pretty face.

"Hi, I'm Bethan" I say, smiling at the cute boy.

"I'm Niall, are you new to Cheshire?" he asked, it was then I noticed his Irish accent.

"Yeah, I moved yesterday. What about you?" I reply.

"2 years ago. It's quite similar to my home town in Ireland so I'm quite lucky" he said with a grin.

"Haha, I have no luck there. I'm used to London, so it's a pretty big change for me" I smile back.

"Mind if I join you? It's my lunch break" he asks.

"Of course you can" I say.

"Thanks" he said sitting down " so how has your experience of Cheshire been so far?"

"Really odd to be honest. I went for a walk this morning in the woods opposite my house and I came across this big, old house. I was kind of lost so I went up to the house and asked for directions. Then this really weird lady kept warning me to "stay away" and to "not tell anyone"."

I confess to Niall.

"Wow, what a great welcome!" he says sarcastically. I laughed and took another sip of my coffee.

"Hey, now that you mention it, I do remember someone at my school mentioning a house in the woods and how a crazy boy lived there. That his mum locked him up after he killed his dad or some shit like that." he says

"Maybe we should check it out together, I could be your backup" he jokes.

"Yeah, that's actually a good idea!" I reply, thinking if I had Niall I could try and ask some questions and put my curiosity (or pure nosiness) to rest.

"Haha, great! How about tomorrow at about 7pm?" he asks.

"Yeah sure" I reply, smiling.

We exchange numbers and hug before I leave. Walking home I think about Niall. He seems so sweet and funny. Maybe I wouldn't be a complete friendless loner here after all.

A.N~ hiiiiii, sorry it's boring! I just wanted to add Niall to the story. I love him sooooo much :)
