We got to the beach at lunch time. After eating, Arli went to go rent surfboards for the 3 of us, while Blake and I found a spot. Taking of my shorts I had overtop me briefs, "I hope Arli gets here soon. I want to surf!"

"I know!" Blake replies. My phone starts ringing. It's Arli. "Hey," I say into the phone "what's up?"

"I need your help bringing back the boards. I can't carry three!" she tells me with annoyance.

"I'm on my way." Hanging up I start towards the place we are getting our boards from.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Blake shouts after me.

"I gotta help Arli!" I call over my shoulder as I break into a jog.

When I get to the place, Arlian is there waiting with three boards. I grab one and her bag, she picks up the other two. "You and Blake own me 15 dollars each!" She grunts.

"Fine." I reply. We manage to find Blake again. The beach is pretty crowded. Setting Arli's bag down I make my way down to the water, carefully avoiding stepping on things. The water is nice on this hot summer day.

Surfing wasn't something I did often, but I know what I'm doing. I paddle my way out to the deeper water where I wait for Arli and Blake, who I can see making their way towards me. I go out a little further, to where I can't stand and I slip onto my board. I wait for a wave, I don't have to wait long, when a decent sized wave comes crashing at me. I paddle hard to let it catch me. As I stand up, I can feel my day get better. As I pass her, Arli shouts "GO MACCA!" And Blake is cheering for me. I have a huge smile on my face.

By the time I get back up to our spot on the beach, the sun is getting lower in the sky. I watch Arli and Blake catch a wave together, and ride it all the way up to where the water is knee deep. They bring their boards up and sit down on the towel next to me. "That was fun!" Blake says while we watch the sun get lower.

"Let's go get food." Arli complains.

"Okay! But you have to take the surfboards back while we pack up!" I tell her.

She quickly grabs all three boards and carries them up the beach with some difficulty. "I don't know what that girl won't do for food!" Blake says watching her. "Me neither! But she will kill us if she gets back and we aren't done." I reply while packing her bag. Once she got back, we made our way to the bathrooms, where we got changed. Making our way to the car, a red truck, we laugh about the time Arli fell because a fish scared her. "It wasn't funny!" She said after the millionth time telling us she wasn't scared. Throwing the stuff into to backseat with Arli, Blake and I climbed into our seats.

I pulled out of the parking lot while Blake and Arli were on their phones looking for a place to eat. We like to eat at places that you can't find anywhere else. "Hey! Can you see if Fishlips is still there? I went there once when we had a vacay here." I asked them. "Fishlips? That sound gross." Arli complained.

"Oh! I found it! Yeah it's open." Blake exclaimed.

"Take us there!" Blake ended up getting us lost, twice, but in the end, we made it.

~ An hour later ~

"Oh, that was good!" Arli exclaims.

"Says the girl who thought it would be gross!" Blake tells her while we try to find the car. Once we found it, got in and buckled, started the car, and exited the parking lot, it was 7 and we were tired!

When we finally arrived home, Arli was out like a light, and Blake was nodding off. I pulled into the garage next to Arli's motorcycle and shut of the car. That woke up Blake. Getting my stuff from the back, I wake up Arli, who was not pleased. "Macca!" She whined, "Why did you have to wake me up?"

"Go get in the shower. That'll wake you up enough for game night! I'll get your stuff." I tell her gently.

Sometimes, I think I'm running a circus, other times, I feel like I am their mother, even though I'm the youngest! Arlian slowly walks in the house to go shower. We have an order, Arli then me then Blake. Blake takes the longest, so she has to go last. We learned that the hard way when we had no hot water for a week! I take the bags and cooler inside and close the garage door. Unpacking, I put Arli's phone on the counter next to mine, and hang up our wet swimsuits outside along with the towels. After dealing with the cooler, Arli comes downstairs and I head up for my turn. (Our house is a 4 bedroom, 1 and 2/2 baths [which means we have 2 half baths]).

After I'm done, I head to my room. "BLAKE! IT'S YOUR TURN!" I shout as I am getting dressed into my pj's, a too big for me shirt, and a pair of comfy pants. Heading downstairs, I trip, but catch myself, much to Arlian's amusement and disappointment. "Skip-bo?" She challenges me. "Oh yeah! I'll beat you this time!" Sitting down at the table, she slides me a stack of 15 cards and the game's afoot!

By the time Kira is out, we have finished a game and are now arguing what to play next. We end up playing a hilarious game of Apples to Apples and then Settlers of Catan before eleven.

"Well, I'm off to bed." Blake says sleepily.

"Good night sleeping beauty!" Arli calls after her as she heads upstairs. She looks at us over her shoulder and sticks her tongue out at us and disappeared around the corner.
