Tonight was the longest night of my life. Not only had I fallen in a hole trying to chase a vamp, but he got away as well. I had to give up and come home.
I turned the key and entered the bunker, throwing my stuff on the ground. I walked slowly down the stairs and down the hall to the kitchen for a snack.
I walked into the kitchen, jumping back and shrieking as Dean steps out from the pantry. I punched his arm, "I could've shot you!"
He stepped back, "Sorry Y/N, I just waited up on you to make sure you made it home okay."
He looked up at me, his face forming into a smirk, "What happened to you?"
He chuckled as he pulled a briar from my hair. I scowled, "Very funny, Dean."
"Did you get attacked by a naked fairy? They're some friggin monsters!"
"I fell in a hole, okay?"
He burst out laughing, "A hole? A friggin hole?"
I opened the fridge, giggling to myself at his cute laugh. I took the apple pie, placing it on the table, "Wanna share?"
"Share? I don't share my pie." He chuckled and pulled it toward himself. I rolled my eyes, "Assbutt."
"You hang out with Cas way too much," he grinned, pushing it back to the center of the table.
"I'm just glad to see you smiling so much..."
Dean didn't respond, just shoved a large bite of pie into his mouth. I sighed and finished my piece, "Thanks for waiting up on me.."
He nodded, finishing his slice, "It's our job to look after each other."
The sudden footsteps broke the awkward silence that had entered the room. We turned to see Cas in footie pajamas holding a bowl of popcorn, "I have researched the subject known as sleepovers. I wanted to partake in such an exciting activity."
I giggled, "Feeling better I see."
Dean stood up, his robe swishing, "Sleepovers? What is this, a chick flick?"
Cas turned red, "But a war involving pillows is so intriguing..."
I smile and start to laugh at the bickering boys.
Dean smirks, "No chick flick moments."
"C'mon Dean! Let's do it! I'LL WAKE UP SAMMY!"
"But Sammy needs to sleep-"
"GET THE HORROR MOVIES!" I yelled as I stormed toward the bedrooms.
I slammed open Sam's door and jumped on top of moose, placing my hands on his shoulders, "Wake up Sammy!!"
Sam's eyes opened wide and he rolled on top of me, pinning me to the bed with all his strength.
"Sam, it's me!"
He huffed and moved away, "D-Don't do that!"
I inched over to him, handing him some footie pajamas, "We're having a sleepover..."
He chuckled and pushed my face backwards onto the bed, "Where's yours, nerd?"
"Says you!" I grabbed mine and smiled, "Are you coming?"
"Wouldn't miss it," he smiled and went to the bathroom, "Tell me when you're dressed so I can come out!"
We both got dressed and returned to the living room area, seeing Cas and Dean arguing over the pj's. I marched over to them and poked Dean in the side, "You have to wear them!"
He sighed, "The unicorn ones? Really?"
We nodded in unison as he returned from the bathroom, dressed in the unicorn footies.
"This stays between us," he demanded.
We laughed and went to sit down on the couch. Dean placed the horror movie Mama into the player, "Cas, do you still have that popcorn?"
He nodded, taking a bite, "Yes, and I now understand why farmers love to grow corn."
I giggled, squeezing in next to Dean and the arm of the couch.
A few hours later, the movie had ended and we all ended up in my room on the bed. I looked between the three boys, who were laughing about something Cas had said. I placed a hand on Dean's shoulder. "You know what we need to do now?"
Dean eyed me, raising an eyebrow. "What's that?"
I placed a pillow in his lap. "Two words: pillow fight."
It was almost funny watching Castiel shake the pillow questioningly. "You simply cannot win a war with this," he chuckled.
I shook my head. "No, Cas, you can't."
Cas fluffed the small, white pillow, finally understanding the concept, "Can we storm into battle now or do we need supplies first?"
I grabbed his wrist, "We need to divide into teams, Castiel."
"Oh how are we doing this?"
I picked up an old hat of mine off the floor, placing slips of paper with our names written on them inside. I held the hat out to Dean, "You pick. Thatll determine the rest."
Dean reached his hand into the hat, digging around for a moment and grabbing a slip of paper. He carefully unfolded it and stared at it for a few seconds, "Well, Cas, looks like were going to war together!"
Cas perked up slightly, happy with his partner. I smiled at this, seeing the guys so happy and relaxed for once in their lives. We had all been through so much, and I thought we deserved a break. Dean chuckled, "So I guess its you and Sammy then!"
Dean grabbed hold of a large pillow, tossing it to me. I handed one to Sam, and Dean grabbed one of his own.
We divided on opposite sides of the bed, readying ourselves. Dean yelled go, and we lunged towards them. Sam took Cas head on, and I slammed my pillow straight into Deans precious face. Dean grabbed hold of my waist, pushing me down onto the bed. He straddled me, pinning me down, "Give up yet?"
I smirked, waiting patiently for the next few seconds. Sam suddenly tackled Dean off me, relentlessly attacking him with the pillow. As I sat up to enjoy the show, Cas sideswiped me with his own fluffy weapon. I laughed when I saw his smiling face. He was so full of accomplishment.
Finally, the pillow fight came to an end when all the pillows had lost their stuffing. I sighed, slumped over top of Sams lap, "I can't believe we let them win."
"You're the one who wouldnt stop laughing after Cas hit you. They double teamed me!"
Dean chuckled, "Can't take the heat, sunshine?"
"Sam is a human being, Dean. He is no ray of light."
We all looked towards Castiel, who was sitting happily against the bed. Dean grinned, "What was that, Cas?"
Cas looked confusingly at Dean, "You called him-"
Sam and I began to die of laughter as Dean smacked him upside the head with the last pillow. Dean was laughing harder than I'd ever seen him laugh before in his life. It made me smile, no doubt, as I watched the two have fun and laugh together. Just as I was done laughing, Dean looked over at me, "Something funny, sweetheart?"
The last thing I saw was Deans grinning lips as a pillow collided with my face.
