Hannah's POV
I took a deep breath as I stood in front of the mirror, not believing I was standing there, and trying to hold back the tears I felt at the sight of myself. It had only been a month since Harry proposed, but it seemed like every single one of my dreams was coming true. Since the day I'd met him, he'd made me feel loved and special, supported my dream of playing softball after college, and now I was standing in a dress shop in the most beautiful wedding gown I'd ever seen.
"You look amazing in this." The lady said to me as she finished zipping up the back.
Being overwhelmed with joy was something I'd become used to over the past month, I just couldn't believe that my life had become what it had, and now here I was staring at a visual representation of everything that was happening. I was there, in a wedding dress, shopping with my mother and my best friends as they tried to help me prepare for the best day of my life, and it was all just a little much. I was just taking a minute to process it as everyone waited outside as I heard my phone ring in my purse. The lady reached down and got it for me and I saw Harry's face on the screen, immediately making me feel calm.
"Hello?" I sniffled, trying to compose myself.
"Baby? What's the matter? Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
"I'm fine." I laughed. "I'm perfect. I'm just standing here looking at myself in a wedding dress and I just can't believe how happy I am."
"Oh, Bird." I heard him smile. "I can't see you, but I already know you're the most beautiful thing anyone's ever seen, and I'm the lucky bastard that got you."
"Yes. You are." I laughed.
"So, dress shopping is going good? I won't keep you, I just wanted to check in."
"I think this might be the one." I said as I turned to the side to look at it.
"Well, I'd by lying if I said I wasn't dying to see a picture of it but I'll follow the rules." He laughed. "You'll look amazing in anything you wear, baby. You get whatever dress makes you feel the best."
"I feel like a princess." I smiled. "This is by far the most beautiful thing I've ever put on."
"You are a princess. My princess."
"And you're my prince." I smiled as I heard Ash bellowing from the other side of the curtain to let them see. "I gotta go, babe. I love you."
"I love you too, have fun. Please stop crying." He laughed.
"Talk to Carol in about 30 seconds, she's been bawling all day."
We said goodbye and I hung up, throwing my phone back in my purse as I took a deep breath and stepped out of the curtain to where everyone was waiting. I watched as they all looked up, their mouths hanging open as they took it all in.
We'd been trying on dresses all day, and none of them had quite been right. The second I put this one on I knew it was the one, and I was happy to see they all seemed to be speechless. I'd never really enjoyed being the centre of attention, but I really did feel like I was living a fairy tale and that dress just felt like confirmation of that.
"Oh, Han. That is...wow." Gem said as she teared up. "That's the one."
"Harry is gonna lose his mind." Rachel laughed.
"You look gorgeous, Han. I can't believe we're picking out your wedding dress." Liv smiled as she came up and hugged me.
"This one is perfect, I love it. Gem's right, that's the one." Ash said as she smiled over at me.
