CHAPTER ONE: ERIDAN AMPORA INTRODUCTION

Everything was new to you. New home, new school, new town, new people. Your dad got a job out of state, and he decided to take it. This meant you, your brother, and your dad had to pack your bags and move all the way from your Californian estate to some small school in New York. It didn't exactly matter to you, though. You didn't have friends at your old school, and you figured that it would be the same here. You did have one friend, though;Feferi Peixes. Oh, god how you loved her. The two of you were inseparable. Once you confessed your non-platonic love for her, she refused to speak to you again. It truly was heart wrenching, but you soon grew numb and got over it.

Your name is Eridan Ampora, and you are sitting alongside your 50's greaser wannabe brother, Cronus, on the six hour flight from California to New York. You sat with your laptop, scrolling through your Twitter feed. Oh, how nice. Brendon Urie posted another update. You fixed your purple knit beanie you bought from a local Hot Topic back in California and rolled up the sleeves of your purple flannel shirt so it was half way up your forearm. Music blasted from the small speakers of your earbuds, which he was pretty sure everyone on the plane could hear. You didn't care, though. My Chemical Romance was your favorite band, and you didn't care who heard it.

Cronus groaned and rolled his eyes at you. "God damn, kid. Turn down the music. My Chemical Love Affair sucks ass, anyway." God, you hated him. You knew he hated the music you liked, but the least he could do was get the names right. You had corrected him so many times, you just rolled your eyes and flipped him off. Slouching back in your chair, you realized this was going to be a long six hours.
