CHAPTER FIVE:

A few weeks went by.

You and Aradia Megido had been practically inseparable, almost like you and Feferi had been. Well, maybe not THAT close. You and Feferi were friends since you two were toddlers, and you had just met Aradia about a month ago. Nonetheless, you felt a strong connection with her.

As the weeks went by, you two spent an immense amount of time at each other's houses. You learned that she's really into archeology, and that's the subject she will be majoring in when she goes away to college. Incidentally, you two both applied and got into the same college before you even knew each other. Even though you were going to be majoring in Marine Biology, and the campus was huge.

You also learned that you two share a common favorite song. It was called 'Young Volcanoes' by the pop punk band 'Fall Out Boy'. Apparently, out of Aradia's list of bands, Fall Out Boy was her favorite. You couldn't blame her, though; Fall Out Boy was your favorite, too. Whenever the two of you did something involving driving, you blasted all the Fall Out Boy songs she had on a mix tape and blasted them through the speakers of her old maroon Impala.

Whenever the two of you would hang out late, it was because you were watching movie marathons. Indiana Jones, to be exact. You were more of a Harry Potter fan, but Indiana Jones was still pretty cool.

Back in reality, the Alternia High School 'Prom' was being held in a month. School events never really excited you or Aradia, but you thought it would be nice to go. Who would you ask? You only really knew one person. You couldn't ask Aradia! She probably liked someone else, anyway. That Sollux kid apparently had a massive crush on her. Hmph. You would have to put some thought into this. Prom was a month away! That gave you plenty of time.
