We all gathered around the radio to hear if we are finally free from this school.

"If you are tuning in right now all schools are still closed but are expected to open tomorrow"

"Ugh I want to get out like now" I said banging my head against the table.

"Yeah no offence to you guys but I want to see other people instead of seeing your faces everyday" Jacob says.

"None taken" William says.

"Wait you know what I just realized" Cara speaks up.

"What?" Lauren said.

"We are going to miss our winter dance" Cara's smile turns into a frown.

"What a shame" Auston says not in the mood.

Auston hasn't been in the mood since we last talked.

"Well we can have the dance here" William suggests.

"Yeah and I still have some dresses in my locker for us to wear" Cara says.

"And i'm pretty sure we can find some suits in the costume room" Jeff says.

"Let's do it!! Tonight at 7!!" I said.

"I'M IN!" Everyone except Lauren says.

"I'm not in" she says.

"Come on Lauren have some fun" Jacob tries to convince her.

"Yeah having fun watching my ex boyfriend drool over another girl, yeah I will totally enjoy watching that!"

Auston looks embarrassed after Lauren said that.

Auston looked cute when he does that.

"Lauren you are coming to this dance no matter what" Cara grabs her arm.

"Ladies follow me, we have a dance to dress up for!"

Everyone of us had a date.

Cara had William.

Auston forced Mitch to come with him as a friend of course.

Jacob went with Lauren just to be friendly with her.

And I got Jeff so this dance isn't going to be that bad.

"Are you girls ready?" William asked impatiently.

"Wait!!" I said as us three look at ourselves in the mirrors for a final check up.

"Cara come out first!"

"Cara your boyfriend is really something" I said to her.

"Yeah sorry about him. Oh and before I go out do I look good?" Cara asked as I looked over her outfit.

"Yeah totally!" I complimented her.

Cara left the restroom leaving me alone with Lauren.

Lauren was just standing there quietly.

"Lauren" I said to her as she just rolled her eyes.

"Lauren i'm sorry about everything".

"Yeah you should be, you're the reason Auston and I broke up"

"Me? How?" I was confused.

They broke up after Auston and I got locked in the freezer.

Nothing happened in the freezer which is the confusing part.

"Bet you didn't know that Auston liked you before we got locked in this stupid school" She says taking me by surprise.

Auston liked me before we came here.

"No that's impossible. I was like a no body to you popular kids"

"Well your brother mentioned you a lot to us and Auston just started to get interest in you"

"But he knows he hates me and I hate him?" This just wasn't making sense.

"Do you ever wonder why he's so popular?" Lauren questions me and I shake my head no.

"Well he did that to get your attention".

This is too much to take in.

"Lauren I-"

"Sofia I don't want to hear you apologize for something that isn't your fault"

"So does this mean.."

"Yes i'm allowing you to date Auston" Lauren says making me smile.

"Lauren thank you" I hugged her.

"Okay too tight" Lauren says as I let go of her.

"You girls take too long" Cara peeks her head through the door.

"Yeah sorry just wait one sec" Lauren says.

Cara nods her head and closes the door.

"Okay?" Lauren asked my opinion on her outfit.

"Stunning!!" I said to her.

"How about me?" I asked her.

"Shit you look nice" Lauren said making me smile.

"Shut up" I playfully said.

"Okay let's go now instead of letting those idiots wait outside for us"
