"I'm finally going home!" Luna squealed like a little girl who just got her first car at sixteen. She was packing her things, and she was texting Harley to get ready to pick her up. She wanted to be driven straight to Jackson's place to see the children. She wanted to immediately grab her kids and get to her place.

She was driven by a taxi to a nearby airport, she was flying over back to L.A, one flight way. As soon as she had gotten dropped off, she had waited for her bags and met Harley in the parking lot. She hugged her friend and co-worker and hopped into the car. The time change had given her jet lag, it was currently eight o'clock.

She had been chipper the entire time, the coffee she had a while ago not wearing off. Jackson didn't expect her to arrive that day, she didn't care to give him a call. All she had wanted was to hold her five-month-old children. She had spent five months, twenty weeks, and eighty-eight days away from her children.

Harley made comments about the progress of the twins but neglected to tell her about the progress on Jackson. She wanted her to see it for herself. To show that he was truly trying.

Getting to Jackson's house, Luna almost burst through the windshield. She hopped out of the car and went to the door. She flattened out her sweater shirt and black jeans and knocked on the door, hoping he would answer. She was ready to knock again when Jackson opened up the door. He had Jacques in his arms and he was cracking and giggling while Jackson tried to calm him down.

Lifting his head he finished laughing and stopped once he saw Luna. Luna was stunned that he was enjoying time with her child. She shook her head at the sight and just stood. Jackson, being cool as he was held out Jacques's hand and said

"Hey! Look it's mama...say hi" he said in a cute babyish voice. Jacques gave him a childish look and giggled clapping his hands. Harley intended to stay in the car talking on the phone.

"You coming inside or what?" He asked her and walked inside. All she wanted was to snatch her baby from him, but Jacques was holding a tight grip on Jackson. She clenched her jaw and walked in, closing the door and taking off her shoes. She chewed her lip remembering the last time she was in this house.

A smile came to her lips when she saw Madeline on the ground playing with toys and babbling. Luna shot forward to grab the baby, taking her out of the play pin.

"Madeline!" She exclaimed in excitement. Her accent becoming clear as she spoke to her child. She held the baby girl into her chest and all she heard was babbles. The grip on her child was soft but tight. A mothers hold. Jackson let her have this moment and sat on the couch ready to give Jacques to Luna if she had wanted to pick him up.

She looked towards her son and smiled doing the same as Jackson predicted. It was awkward for him seeing this. He hadn't seen her in five months and now she's coming to take his children away from him.

She wasn't sure if they had any recollection of their mothers face, she did hope so. She had sat on the floor as Jackson had watched them. It was only a few minutes before they had calmed down and fell asleep. She took a breath and placed them into the play pin. She let out a sigh before sitting up and sitting on the couch beside him.

"Listen, Uh...I'm going to take them back to my place, and all that. I'm sorry I pushed this thing into you-"

"It's fine, I like it." He laughed a little bit. Even if he didn't think she was going to come over, he wanted himself to get to know her. He had been reading up on her, the youngest and the first woman to become a police commissioner. She had been born in America but was taken back to France. There was an entire biography of her on the internet, it didn't give any crazy details but just the ones you would need to know.
