So A Silent Voice or The Shape of Voice or Koe No Katachi is a drama/romance story. There are seven volumes and one movie. This story was written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Ōima. I have only read the first volume but I'm hoping to read the other ones very soon but I have seen the full movie. I will give a link below if you want to check the books out and the movie out. The story revolves around Nishimiya Shouko, an elementary school student whom has severe hearing loss. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates. Ishida Shouya, one of the bullies, goes to the point that she transfers to another school once again. As a result, he is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak of and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption; to right the wrong he has inflicted onto both of their lives (mainly Shouko).
The original run of the manga is August 7, 2013 – November 19, 2014 and the movie was released in 2016.
