First Date

Jordan's POV

I check myself in the mirror one more time. This time, I see some of my hair out of place. I quickly fix it and smile. I want everything to perfect tonight. It's mine and Jeydon's first date; he may be a little nervous about it. I want to help feel comfortable. If that's possible.

I hear a knock on the door. "Coming!" I yell as I walk towards the only thing that divides me from all of the crazy people in this apartment complex.

Without looking through the tiny peephole, I unlock the door and open it. I am greeted by the adorable face of Jey Wale. I move out of the way and he walks in; I close the door behind him.

"You look great," he says. "So do you," I reply and kiss his cheek, "You ready?"

"Uh, yeah," Jeydon replies. "I'm just a little nervous. I've never had a date like this before. What if too many people see us there?"

"Don't worry," I assure him, "we aren't going on a weekend or opening night. Not many people should be going. We're good."

"Okay," he smiles, causing me to smile.

"Let's go," I say as I grab my keys.

This should be fun!

*At The Theatre*

Jeydon and I take a seat in the middle of the theatre. We didn't get too close to the screen or we would have to look up at all times so we could actually see the movie. We didn't choose to sit in the back for viewing reasons as well.

I'm sure we'll be the cliché couple here tonight. You know, the one that shares popcorn and leans up against each other as they watch the movie.

At least we won't be the kind who makes out in the middle of the film and ruins it for everyone. Neither of us have the courage to try something like that. Yet.

"I love you," Jeydon says to me. "I love you too," I reply.

"Do you think this will be good?" Jeydon asks, changing the subject.

"The previews were good, so, maybe," I reply.

"Your answer should be: ‘Hell Yeah!’ It has Spiderman in it!" Jey exclaims. He's a total fanboy when it comes to Marvel.

I smile innocently, "Sorry. Can you forgive me?"

"You know I will," Jey replies. It's good to see that he's gained some confidence. I thought he would get so nervous that he would be sick. That would mean that we would have to leave.

After a few more people come into the room and take a seat, the movie begins. In the middle of it, I put my arm around Jeydon. He leans against me, putting his head on my shoulder. I kiss the top of his head and continue watching the movie. It's actually pretty cool!

About an hour and a half later, the movie is over. Jeydon is fast asleep. He's so adorable when he's asleep! I know that sounds weird and stalker like, but you should see him!

I slowly get Jeydon off of me so I can throw all of our trash away since I refuse to leave it like all of these other jerks! Then, I go back to Jey.

"Jey, baby, time to wake up," I whisper to him. I do have some regret since I love seeing him in such an adorable and peaceful state.

"No...." He says groggily. "Lemme sleep."

"But it's time to go," I reply.

"Carry me."

I listen to him and pick him up bridal style. His eyes widen. "I didn't mean literally!" He says. "Well, you wouldn't get up," I reply, smiling. Jeydon huffs a little.

To lighten the mood a little more, I give him a passionate kiss on his lips. He gladly kisses back, making me happy and feel less awkward.

"Do you want to walk?" I ask. "No," Jeydon replies, "Carry me?" "Fine," I reply, " but only because I love you." A lot.

I carry him out to my car, ignoring all of the weird, judgemental looks. I put him the passenger seat and I get in the driver's seat.

"How was it?" I ask. "I loved every second of it," Jeydon replies.

"I'm glad to see that your nervousness went away."

He smiles, "So am I."

The both of us are silent as I begin to drive down the highway.

"Best date ever," Jeydon says. "Agreed," I reply.

Finally, a first date gone right.

(A/N: I can't wait for Spiderman: Homecoming to be in theatres! Also, keep in mind that I'm an American. Sorry of some of the things named go by different names in your country!)
