Lauren's POV:

"Lauren where the hell are you taking me?" Camila asks giggling as I drag her out of our apartment. "Just wait and see, its a surprise." I answer smirking and we finally get to my car. After all the drama and stress we have been put through, a night to ourselves sounds pretty damn good. I start driving nowhere in particular, and I feel the pair of brown eyes set on me. "How are you Lauren? We haven't talked in forever." She says carefully. "I've been better actually. I'm confused and scared, and everything will change tomorrow after Simon finds out the truth about Austin and Normani. The group will probably split up and the thought of doing something else with my life terrifies me. But at least I have you." I say forming a soft smile on my face. "Yeah, I kinda ship us." She says trying to lighten the mood. I laugh quietly and take a deep breath. I'll probably go back home and apply to a college near by, and that means being away from Camila. And I know we have been through hell and back together, but I just can't picture my life without her. I have always been a really independent person, but she completes me. She makes me the happiest person alive and I don't want to lose her. That's what's scaring me the most right now. Maybe being away from me will make her realize she wants to be with someone else. Maybe she won't wait for me to come back. Maybe the only reason we are together is because we have been forced to be next to each other for two years. I don't know where all of the sudden insecurities come from, but I really don't even want to think about my life without her. "I absolutely love you Camila, thank you for bearing with me." I tell her and she rests her hand on my thigh. "I love you too." She says with a smile and then bites her bottom lip. "But I really want to know where we're going." She adds making me laugh softly again. "I'm not quite sure, but we can't run away to New Mexico again because we have probably the most important meeting of our lives tomorrow." I say and hear my road trip partner sigh. "Can we like, not talk about that right now? I want this night to be about us." She says with a shy smile on her face. "Of course, and I know exactly where to take us." I say mysteriously and set my eyes on the road. "Where?" Camila asks me excitedly. "Its a surprise, but we'll have to make a few stops before we reach our destination." I say grinning. "Okay, I like surprises." She answers winking at me. If she only knew how much it scares me that this will be our last night together. Maybe everything will change after our meeting with Simon tomorrow, and I'm really not ready to let her go.

"A gas station Lauren? Seriously?" Camila says following me to the liquors section. "We need to buy stuff, okay? Since when are you so picky?" I ask lifting an eyebrow. "Oh honey, I'm dating you, I'm not picky at all." She answers with a smirk and I playfully slap her arm. "Hey, that was rude." I say giggling. "I'm kidding." She says putting her hands on my lower back. A tingle goes down my spine as her eyes are set intently on mine. No matter how many times she has looked at me, I can't put to words what a huge impact she has on me. She pulls me closer to her softly biting her bottom lip, and no one will probably recognize us in this gas station on the outskirts of L.A. "I love you so much." Camila whispers on my ear making me shiver again. She moves her hands up my sides and I really don't think I can keep away from her anymore. "Lets get the hell away from here." I say with a trembling voice and grab a six pack of beers before making my way to the cashier. Luckily he doesn't even asks us for our IDs and we're able to go back to my car in no time. "Now will you tell me where you're taking us?" She asks me and I shake my head. "Come on, please?" She pleads giving me her best smile. "Nope." I answer and give her a quick peck on the lips before setting my eyes back on the road. "Okay, then I won't give you your present." She says calling my attention. "You got me a present?" I ask excitedly. "Yeah, but I won't give to you until you tell me where we're going." She says with a grin on her face. "How about you give it to me when we get where we're going and then we both win?" I propose with a smile. "Fair enough." Camila answers nodding. "You shouldn't have gotten my anything Camz." I say glancing at her direction. I feel horrible because I didn't get her anything and she always has these amazing details and I don't. "I didn't get you something, I actually... Whatever, you'll see when we get to your mysterious location." She says focusing her big brown eyes on me. "Fair enough." I answer and wink at her. I really don't want this night to end, I have a horrible feeling tomorrow won't be a good day for us at all.

Camila's POV:

"We're finally here!" Lauren announces and I walk behind her trying to catch my breath. I have never been an athletic person, but climbing hills in the middle of the night with a six pack of beer isn't exactly an easy task. "Where are we?" I ask and notice her walking towards the edge of the hill. "I used to come here a lot right after we had broken up, it helped me think." She tells me and I realize the beautiful view of the entire L.A. skyline this site provides. "Wow, this is amazing." I say standing next to her and feel her arm around my body. "You're amazing babe." Lauren tells me planting a kiss on my temple. After a while of admiring the view, we lay down together, her head on my chest and our fingers intertwined. It really scares me to think about a life without her. What if our meeting with Simon ruins everything we have? She'll probably go to college and I'll have to stay in school or maybe try to pursuit a solo career, I'm still not sure what I'll do with my life. I just know that I don't want to be another second apart from Lauren. I run my finger through her silky hair and I truly want this moment to last forever. Suddenly she lifts her head and focuses her beautiful green eyes on mine. "Hey I want my present." She says pouting. "Oh, you're right! You might think this is really cheesy, but I wrote you something and yeah, I wanted you to read it." I say shyly taking a folded piece of paper from the back pocket of my jeans. "Aww you wrote me a letter? Wow that's so sweet!" She says grabbing my face and kissing me softly on the lips, but I pull apart softly. "Actually, its a song." I clarify and notice her eyes shine even more. "Are you for real? Sing it! I want to hear it." She says sitting up straight and stares deeply into my eyes. "Okay." I say softly and my heart starts beating out of my chest. I have sung in front of her so many times before. But this is completely different. This song means so much to me, and singing it without my guitar and in this breathtaking settings makes it even more emotional, but her eyes seem to expectant and I really don't want to let her down. I clear my throat and hold her hand before I starts singing.

"When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?

Well, I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up..."

Its not after I finish singing the heart felt song when I realize the multiple tears on my face and Lauren's eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." I start saying wiping the tears from my cheeks, but Lauren shuts me up with the most amazing, passionate kiss ever. "I love you so much Camila, that was beautiful." She breathes against my lips and then connects them again. Her eager movements makes it clear she wants something more from me. And I'm more than happy to give it to her, after all we haven't had this kind of intimacy in a long time and I really miss spending time with the love of my life so much. Her hands start playing with the hem of my shirt, until she finally manages to take off the piece of clothing separating our bodies. This could be our last night of things as we know them, and we might as well make the best of it.
