"Oh my god..."

"Guys-" I tried speaking but my throat was dried out. "JAQUELA!!" They all screamed in joy. "Where-" I started coughing. "Jaquela don't try to speak, the doctors said your throat was somehow damaged, causing you to not speak." Brianna pointed out.

"Also, Tala got that guy from C.Den again so he could pay the bills to this. And don't worry she erased the police officers memories!" Derek said with a smile on his face. "I'll go get the others in the waiting room!" Jessica said as she happily runs out. I looked out the window besides the bed, seeing it looked like morning. "You've been out since yesterday...I'm just glad your ok." Brianna said as she gently tears up.

"Surprised your still alive huh?" Derek said as he title his head with a smirk on his face. I gently nodded yes. "It figures we don't have our limit hp anymore, we survived like how humans do. So Jaquela, you don't have 1 HP anymore." I sat there, in shock.

"Also your shoulder was so damaged that you have to stay here for a week." Brianna said as she sits down on a chair. I looked down in disappointment.

I heard footsteps approaching. They all run inside, yelling my name. "IM SO HAPPY YOUR ALIVE, JAQUELA PLEASE DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT," "Ok guys calm down we all know she's fine." Derek said as he stands in front of me.

However I can see Laricia standing in the corner, in a scared way. I titled my head. "Aw man, I hope she's ok...she's been acting like this since we fought...it's not her fault it's Chara's fault...she should know that by now."

I laid back down on the bed while looking up at the ceiling, tired, thinking. "My life has been like hell since I first fell down. If I haven't ran away from my home I wouldn't be in this mess. Also if I haven't fell down, I wish I haven't dragged my friends down there..."

"Oh yeah, Jaquela!" Suddenly I snapped back into reality, and looked at Derek. "I don't want you all to get anxiety but.....Jaquela take out your soul." I sat there confused. I put my hand on my chest and took out my soul in front of me, seeing a tiny crack under it. I gasped in fear, and shoved the soul back inside me.

"I know we still don't have hp, but when we hurt our souls, they get damaged, so we have to be careful still. We don't know what'll happen to us when we die since we're half human now." I sighed and looked at the table right besides me, seeing my phone.

I took my phone and went on YouTube just watching Eddsworld videos. "Don't worry Jaquela, even though we're in...town a few miles away from school...we'll still visit you everyday!" Tala said with a smile on her face. I look up at her, faking a smile. The doctors walk in.

"Ok, you guys have to leave, we're going have to do a small experiment on your friend here." They all sighed and left the room. I laid back down, looking up at the bright light above me.

Suddenly, they put a mask over my mouth, I...started feeling dizzy and tired.

Laricia's POV

I was looking out through the window to see Jaquela. "How long do you think she'll be in there?" Jessica asks me. I saw a paper clipped on the room door. "Jaquela Dreemurr-14-Shoulder got shot by a bullet, and throat is dry and a bit damaged. Will have to stay here for the next 7 days."

I looked up at Jessica. "7 days. So a week." We both sighed and left the building. We went in the car as our fake father drove us back to our house. "So Jaquelas gonna be there for a week?" Brianna asks. I nodded. Tala leans closer to us and mumbles. "That means we have to keep this man to pay the bills until Jaquela's fine."

All of us nodded in agreement. I leaned back on the seat, taking a nap.
