There was a tapping noise at a far distance. Or at least that's what it seemed like. The darkness I could see was making it difficult to concentrate on the tapping noise only because I was so comfortable.
Maybe two minutes into falling into the darkness again did I realize that I was technically asleep.
Or was falling back into it, anyway.
I groaned when the tapping noise started up again. This time I knew I was actually being awoken (which meant someone was going to die) and so my head turned to bury my face into my pillow; wrapping my arms around it more. I figured it might help drown out the tapping noise that now was using more force.
Scrunching my nose as I lifted my head, I peered my eyes open to see my headboard. I blinked at it a few times then frowned over my shoulder. I winced from the sunlight's rays that had managed to get through the thin fabric of my curtains.
I leaned a little forward, squinting through my sleep-filled eyes and then they widened when I spotted the Alice-blue eye peeping through the space between the curtains.
Blinking a few times just to make sure that I wasn't dreaming while awake, I scrunched my nose and tried to focus on what was staring back at me.
But then I heard a muffled, "Red! Red, I know you can see me because I can see you! Now open the God damn window up!"
Easton....
Sneering, I turned away and rested my head against my pillow again. It was short lived since the tapping on my window started up again and I could hear the damn Moody Asshat Werewolf muffle through the glass again.
"Red, you gorgeous sexy platter, get the fuck up!"
My head snapped up and frowned over my shoulder again. This time I was wide awake and growled under my breath as I tossed my blankets off me; grumbling to myself when my legs got tangled in the sheet. I smacked the restraints against me and stomped over to my window, grabbing the curtains and pulling them open.
My eyes narrowed at the brow-raised, grinning Werewolf on the opposite side of the glass. My grip on my curtains tightened seeing that smug look on his face. Just to spite him, I quickly shut my curtains which made Easton growl out, "The fuck!?" though that did make me smile a bit.
I ended up reopening the curtains to find Mr. Moody Pants giving me that heated glare of his and I shrugged silently. The blond huffed, shaking his head and then motioned his hand in an upward motion while telling me to open up the window.
Rolling my eyes, I reached up to unlock the hinge and then braced my fingers at the bottom of the window pane to slide it upward until it smacked to a halt. I stepped back once the Were used his hand to wave me away for space. First came Easton's blond wavy hair, followed by the rest of his robust figure.
He cursed under his breath when trying to drag his long leg through the window, then straightened to look at me.
I raised a brow, shaking my head slowly when Easton grinned, "Well, Good Morning..."
His eyes slowly dropped from my face and I scrunched my nose a little while looking at my chest as he was. I glanced up at him then down again; doing this a few times.
"The hell are you looking at?" I grumbled.
Easton raised a brow, the irises to his blue eyes fading into the gold of his inner beast. A low growl rumbled from his chest and my brows shot upward while taking a step back. The Werewolf glanced down again, grinning that he assumed with me being so inexperienced that I'd sleep a little more covered up.
