A white she-cat, Star, padded into the center of a clearing, pretending to ignore the human cameraman.

At last she turned to face the camera. "Take two."

Episode One

"Welcome, contestants, to the first season of Total Drama Warriors! I do not envy these particular cats who have chosen to participate, as they will have many difficult challenges this time around! Plus, there will be things they have to face no clan warrior could have ever imagined! I bet all the cats back home are jealous.

"Here comes our first contestant, Spiritflight!"

A small, pale ginger tabby she-cat with green eyes stalked into the clearing. "What is this, a TV show?" she sniffed.

"You know what I told you," Star replied, annoyance in her tone. "Go stand over there."

Spiritflight shrugged as best she could and walked away.

"Our second contestant is Needlepool!"

A black and brown tom with amber eyes crept into the clearing, eyes darting nervously around, until he spotted Spiritflight. Immediately he took off to join her.

"Not even going to say anything?" Star called, startled slightly.

No reply came.

"Great, I've got that one shy contestant," Star muttered.

Before she could speak again, there were five loud barks, and the rest of the contestants pelted in, fur bristling and eyes wide. Star let out a yowl of annoyance and leaped to the hole in the ferns, unsheathing her claws as a massive dog entered. Star hissed loudly, and the dog shrank back.

At that moment, another person came to fetch his pet. He took one look at the she-cat and said, "Ma'm, I'm sorry-"

Star growled, "Ma'm? Do I look like a lady to you? And did you simply ignore the signs saying to stay out until filming was done?"

The man looked uncomfortable, but he didn't argue, taking his dog away.

Star relaxed. "Alright, now that that's taken care of, there's no point introducing the rest of you."

Most of the cats let out loud meows of protest, except for Spiritflight and Needlepool, who muttered, "Why did I have to be the second introduced?"

"Just kidding, you'll be welcomed later. Come on, let's go. We don't have all day on the island."

"The one that was supposed to be dog-free?" one of the she-cats, a dappled gray-and-white tabby with amber eyes, said snarkily.

Star narrowed her eyes. "I never made any promises, Seedfeather. I just said I thought it would be dog-free."

"Mousebrain," Seedfeather muttered, but didn't say anything else as the group padded to a steep hillside.

Star halted at the foot of the hill. "The first challenge is going to be a climbing race. Oh, and by the way, your teams have been decided."

"So why are we doing this?" called a tom who looked like a Siamese cat. A Siamese she-cat nodded in agreement.

"Good thing you two are seperated," muttered Star. "To answer your question, Alderseed, we're doing this because I want to see how capable you are."

"What are the teams?" asked the Siamese she-cat.

"Volefang, do you really think I'm telling you and your mate?"

"He's my brother..."

"Oops. Wrong idea. Anyway, you will be on a paw-race up this hill. The last cat to make it up loses for their team. Ready?"
