Episode Three

"Last episode, on Total Drama Warriors, the cats had a fishing challenge. They were required to catch as many fish as possible. Alderseed and Haynose came up with the excellent plan that won them the challenge by one fish. Leaping Mice lost, and Liontail was eliminated. What challenge will the warriors do this time? ---Crouching Voles---

Poolwhisper and Blackfox lay close together, grooming themselves quickly. Spiritflight crouched at the entrance, staring at nothing in particular. Seedfeather walked up to Haynose and Alderseed, who were talking quietly at the back of the den.

Blackfox gave her chest fur one last lick before joining Spiritflight and meowing, "What are you thinking of?"

Spiritflight jumped up with a hiss, bristling, then calmed down when she recognized the other cat. "Blackfox, you startled me!"

Blackfox dipped her head slightly. "Sorry. What were you thinking about?"

"Home. I miss my old clanmates slightly, now that I haven't seen them in a while. But I want to stay and bring back a million catmint (catnip) leaves, to help my clan, however many a million is."

Blackfox nodded. "I understand." Thoughtfully, she added, "Do you want an alliance?"

Spiritflight tilted her head slightly. "How long would it last?"

Blackfox's eyes filled with regret. "However long it is it ends up lasting."

Spiritflight nodded in agreement. "Deal."

Blackfox isn't a bad cat. Now if I could just get Seedfeather in on this, too...

Great, Spiritflight's in with me. Now to convince Seedfeather; she could be helpful as well. Plus, I trust her.

---Leaping Mice---

Needlepool hissed in annoyance as a ball of moss was accidentally flung at his head from across the den. "Volefang, I swear-"

"What? I can't hear you!" yowled Volefang, throwing more moss. "Having too much fun, Sir Serious!"

Jaywhisker purred in laughter as Yarrowstream joined in, splashing Volefang with moss. Needlepool stalked over to Jaywhisker and dropped to the ground with a sigh beside her, brushing his fur off.

"Could you please tell these furballs that we need to start working together?" Even Needlepool was lightening up, watching the two cats play.

Jaywhisker shot him a glance. "Says the one who voted against us."

Needlepool sighed. "I made the wrong decision; I know that. Last time I voted Liontail."

Jaywhisker frowned. "If you voted Liontail with Volefang, Yarrowstream, and I, who else voted Volefang?"

Needlepool shrugged. With complete honesty in his eyes and voice, he replied, "I don't know."

Who voted Volefang, if Jaywhisker and I didn't? Wait, I know. It must have been Volefang herself. But that would mean...
