Once we were in Breckenridge, I got a call from Benji.

"Hey Benji, what's up?"

"Hey, where'd you guys go?" he asked.

"Breckenridge." I said, getting out of the car. Amy followed suit, hanging on every word I said.

"Breckenridge? What's in Breckenridge?"

"Nothing. Just felt like going on a day trip. You're welcome to meet us here." I said Amy perked up at the idea of seeing Benji again, even though it had been mere hours. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Yeah, I'll be there soon." he said. I made a thumbs up at Amy, who squealed. We shopped around waiting for Benji to get here. He called me and asked what part of town we were in then interrupted himself seeing Amy's unmistakable firey locks trying to break free of its beanie prison. He honked and i waved, a slight flick of my wrist, without turning around. Amy spun on her heel and waved full on, the biggest smile on her face I had ever seen. He parked and got out of the car pocketing his keys.

"Hey loner, how was sleeping in bed alone after Lady Amy left your heavenly side?" I asked once he was close enough to us. He was still wearing the ripped jeans from the night before and had on a different band shirt, the band I once again hadn't heard of but knew that I had listened to them. I determined I like them too.

"It was lonely." he moaned reaching Amy and nuzzling into her neck, wrapping his arms around her waist. Today, when he looked her up and down, I didn't mind quite as much as I had last night. She was wearing black jeans, a galaxy tee-shirt that was a little short and loose, and the same beanie as the night before. When she lifted her arms over Benji's and wrapped them around his neck I noticed she had changed her belly ring to her original star. Also, she had put in a star stud in her nose instead of the ring she had in the night before.

"Oh shut up. You rolled back over and went straight to sleep." She giggled into his hair. I almost didn't know whether to throw up or squeal 'awwwww!!!'. I chose to do nothing until they finished their little display. I shifted from one foot to the other. Finally, they broke apart and held hands.

"Okay, I'm thinking food?" Benji said.

"You're always thinking food." I said rolling my eyes. "Granted, if I smoked as much as you did I would be too."

"Pizza?" Amy asked pointing to a sign that advertised a pizza place and an arcade. Benji was all over that. We walked in and put our names in. I went outside for a smoke, having already pick-pocketed Amy for a cigarette and her lighter. She wouldn't miss them considering she wouldn't even know they were gone. I'd done this before.

Standing outside in my jean shorts, tube top, and jean jacket, hair tied up in a bun from the heat, and sunglasses, smoking, I realized that I looked like the pictures you'd see on Facebook or whatever. I chuckled at the thought and shook some ash off my cigarette. I looked up to see a guy across the street, leaning against a pillar and smoking just like me. I gave a signature wave, flick of the wrist. He waved back by raising a hand. I looked away and took another drag. I looked back at him again, sneaking. I was curious to see if he was hot. He was wearing light colored jeans that had a hole in one knee and rolled up at his ankles a few inches. His Black tee-shirt took a second for me to read what it said but eventually saw it said Imagine Dragons. Black vans to match his shirt. His hair was long and black and hung in his eyes. He squinted into the sun and I realized he saw I had been staring at him. I looked down and when I looked up again, he wasn't standing by the pillars anymore. Great, I scared a random guy away and he hadn't even spent a day with me yet. This was a new record. I sighed and turned to put out my cigarette in the trash bin. He was standing there, by the trash can. I stopped short.
