Bonnie's Back In Town

Over the course of a few weeks Elena has been spotted at Mystic Grill right beside the bar, plotting ways to get Damon to flip his switch. He won't even go around Elena because he knows that she's the key to flipping it. Stefan and Caroline do their best to help but nothing seems to be working. Damon's not gone yet though. When he looks into her eyes you can see the glimmer of hope. The door opens to the Grill and Elena notices a familiar face.

"Bonnie! You're back!"

Elena and Bonnie embraced each other and then let go. Bonnie needed to get away from Mystic Falls after Matt and Alaric's accident because she blamed herself. Everyone had a different way of handling that. Bonnie skipped town, Stefan and Caroline started hunting vampires (weird, I know… but nothing's really normal in this town), Eleana started heavily drinking, Damon flipped his humanity, and no one's really heard from Tyler but there's no way he's taking it well.

"How's Damon doing?"

"He flipped his humanity switch, Bon."

"Because of me?"

"I'm sure it wasn't just because of you, Alaric was his best friend."

"But I blamed him for it…"     

"Maybe you should talk to him then."

"I can try, Elena. But what if it doesn't work."

"We'll find a way. I can't give up on him. He wouldn't of given up on me."

"I know."
