They walked into the Boarding House together to find Stefan, Caroline, and the twins. They ran up to Bonnie and Elena while Stefan hugged Damon.

Bonnie picked up Josie and goes to sit by Caroline.
"So you decided to take the kids?"
"Yeah, they can't grow up without a mom or dad when we can give them both."-C
"I'm sure Alaric wouldn't approve if that."-B
"Probably not, but he'll get over it when I tell the girls all about them almost everyday. They'll know that their dad was a strong a wise man who always stuck by our side and that he was a father figure to everyone. Also, that he would've done anything to keep them safe and out of harms way."-C
"And what about Jo?"-B
"That she was an amazing, positive and caring person. She was one of the best doctors in the world and saved tons of people's lives. Also that if she were here today she would be doing a hell of a lot better job than I am at being a mom."-C
Caroline shakes her head and hugs Bonnie and Josie. Elena picks up Lizzie and joins the hug.
"Now, I think you're doing a pretty good job."-E

After everything everybody sat in the front room to watch a movie.
Caroline and Stefan were in the red loveseat cuddling while watching their children more than the movie.
Josie and Lizze layed on blankets placed on the floor with Bonnie.
Damon and Elena layed on the couch together and fell asleep talking about their future.
