"Do you girls need anything else?" We shook our heads.
"Thank you though Mr. Styder," Annabeth commented politely. My dad grinned at her.
"Not a problem," he looked down at my younger brother, "it's time for you to go to sleep," my youngest brother groaned.
"Fine," with a stomp he went to his room. I guided my best friend to my room, but she was already familiar with the path. I made sure that my other brother would be gone tonight. I didn't have to worry about my three eldest siblings. They were at Uni anyways.
"I love staying here," She spoke up. I raised my eyebrow.
"Why?" I couldn't deny that I loved staying in my room. It was so comfortable.
"I just love being around a lot of people," she shrugged. I smiled putting the pizza box on the bed.
"I'll grab the sodas?" She plopped down on my bed already on her phone.
"Yeah thanks," she smiled at me. I walked back down to the kitchen; also taking notice of the time on the microwave. It was late. I was glad her parents had been kind enough to let her stay. I quickly grabbed the soda, and walked back to my room.
"Becca?" My dad stopped me in front of his door. I smiled.
"Yeah, daddy?"
"Try not to be too loud, alright?" I nodded.
"Alright," I smiled, "night," he placed a soft kiss on my head. I gave him a smile in return, before continuing to my room. My mind kept drifting back to what Zayn had spoke of to me. I didn't tell Anna yet. I didn't want to ruin the memory. Even if it was a quick conversation.
"Let's start the party!" I awkwardly moved my hips, and laughed walking to the bed. She snorted.
"Let's hope you have some better moves than that." I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks," about a few hours later we just sat on my bed. Both of us doing different things on our phones. I had been polite enough to keep myself quiet about what happened at the concert, and the hospital. I was dying to know though, and couldn't keep it to myself much longer.
"Spill?" I asked looking up. She mad a face of fake innocence.
"Excuse me?"
"You're not going to say anything at all?" I leaned forward in my seat trying to draw something from her. She closed her mouth in a thin line.
"I'll explain it later, okay?" I licked my bottom lip, and hugged the pillow to my chest. My face still felt warm from the previous experience. I couldn't believe I actually stood next to Zayn. It was surreal. He was so kind; not that he said much. He was just checking on quote, 'my friend', but it didn't make a difference. We were quickly interrupted by fans though. Not that I minded. I still got my picture with him.
"Why not now? My dad's asleep," I mumbled standing up to peak out my door. Sure enough my fathers door was closed, with the light off.
"I just need a while to get used to what happened," she sighed, "I promise I will tonight though," I nodded and turned on my Xbox, and TV.
"How about a movie?" I suggested. She smiled.
"Sure. What movie do you have in mind?" I flicked my thumb over the control until I got to Netflix.
"Not sure. How about something scary?" She wrinkled her nose.
"Sure," I knew she hated movies, but I was hoping she'd get freaked out and slip what had happened in the hospital room.
"Why does your phone keep beeping?" I asked slightly annoyed. She shrugged.
"I don't know why," as she spoke the tone in her voice raised. I tried not to bring up that she was lying. I set back on my bed, and turned Jeepers Creepers on. She leaned back next to me. I compared how much longer her legs were than mine. I had always been jealous of her. She was super model tall. With dark brown hair, holding a red tint. She was skinny. Mean while I was a boring brunnete with brown hair type of girl. I was short, and much curvier than her. Sometimes I loathed her for it.
"Mhm," I logged onto my Instagram account, and scrolled around to see if anything was new. Quickly I posted the picture of Zayn, and I; Adding a quick caption.
"This is so weird," Anna commented staring at the screen. I shrugged looking up at it.
"I like it," I placed my phone down, and crossed my legs.
"You like a lot of demeted things," I laughed.
"It's not that demeted,"
"Um, I'd say it kinda is," she glanced down at her phone. I glanced over trying to peak at what she was typing.
"Hey now!" She laughed shutting her phone down. I pouted.
"You're no fun,"
"Awe I'm sorry," she turned to face me, "alright I'll tell you, but I don't think you'll believe me." I raised my eyebrow, and sat with my legs crossed.
"Well spit it,"
"Harry followed me," her face broke out into a wide grin, "and we're kinda talking right now," she blushed a deep red. I squealed holding my knees to my chest.
"He did not!?" I exclaimed in excitement. That was huge, huge news. I was slightly jealous too.
"He did," she mumbled.
"Are you guys flirting?" I questioned. Imagine if she actually did date Harry Styles.
"No. No of course not." She laughed, "are you kidding me? Why would he date me?" I frowned.
"Don't put yourself down. You're gorgeous. Any guy would be lucky to have you,"
"Sure." She sighed.
"I'm happy for you though." I gave her a kind smile. She grinned back.
"That means a lot to me," she pushed her hair back to a ponytail. I smiled.
"Well it should,"
"I'm happy you're my friend," I laughed.
"I'm happy you have a friend like me too," I rolled my eyes with a laugh. I couldn't believe it had happened.
I knew for certain that she had the best night ever.
