At 10:38 in the morning, Felicity was doing paperwork on her desk. The detective (Joe) was walking towards, wanting to know how successful has her weekend became. Felicity noticed him, putting all the papers away.

Felicity smiled at him.

"By that smile, I guess everything went well this weekend." Joe spoke.

"Yup, everything was a success." Felicity grinned, obviously trilled. She couldn't wait for the day were she accomplished everything. This was actually a good start, deep down she was revealed and not regretting studying crime at college. Sometimes she had those doubts that she didn't do the right thing.

"I even gave him my numbers and he asked me out on a date" She continued telling the Joe.

"Perfect, remind me to give you the secret micro chip to be able to hear everything he says. " Joe suggested.

"Um I don't know about that hey, that's not how I intended to do everything. Plus I doubt he will spill the beans on the first date." She said.

" Well I'll leave everything on your hands, just speak if you need anything. " Joe spoke, walking away.

" Thanks Joe" she said finishing the work.

She took her stationary and put in on her bag. She headed out of the office and got inside her car. She was in a hurry to get home and get ready for the date.

Arriving at 18:00, she went straight to her wardrobe, taking out a tight-fitted caramel dress.
It was not too long, just under her knees but didn't reach her ankles. She put on some makeup and jewellery that went with the dress, not forgetting the 5-inch high heels that matched her dress. Just by doing that, she received a text from him, letting her know that he was excited. She looked in the mirror and sighed. Her outfit unfortunately looked, eh too class. It was like she was going to a function or something. In other words she was expecting a guy like Bless to show up in a suit or tuxedo.
Sighing heavily, she looked again on the wardrobe and picked some casual but classy and sexy. She picked black high-waisted skinny jeans, and blue top with ruffles in the middle forming a straight line, black jacket with blue high heels. She tied her hair in a pony tail and put on some lip gloss. Satisfied with her appearance she headed out confidently.

Arriving just on time, she noticed that he hasn't arrived. She picked a place to sit down and started looking on her menu.

Bless entered the restaurant. He smiled when he saw her. He walked to her.

"You know I didn't think you'll come. " he said as he sat down.

"Well I'm woman of my word." She smiled.

"You know I like honesty and trustworthiness"

"Well I guess you're lucky then, shall we order?" she implied.

"Alright." Bless snapped his fingers and a waiter came to take their orders.

"Um...I'll have a salad and some apple juice please." Felicity ordered while closing the menu.

"I'll have some steak and chips."
Bless answered.

"Alright anything else?" The waiter asked.

"No, thanks." Felicity replied. She turned to Bless who was looking at her.

"Um, what? Is the something wrong?" She asked with a little bit of concern.

"Nothing. You're just beautiful" he responded.

"Thanks." She blushed. Its been forever since she was complimented.

The waiter came with their food. They began eating and had a decent conversation. Felicity was actually enjoying the dinner but quickly remembered why she was there at the first place.

"Um so, tell me, what is it that you do for a living besides being a businessman of course?" She asked.

"Well let's just say, its confidential. I might actually have to kill you if I told you that." He said biting on his steak.

"Must be dangerous?" She asked looking at him while drinking her juice.

"Very." He replied.

"Well guess what, I can handle dangerous." She assured.

"Really?" Bless laughed surprised.

"Yes. Test me then if you don't believe me."

"You know what, let me be the judge of that. Decide whether you can handle it or not. But first tell me more about yourself?" He leaned back on his chair.

"Well I grew up in here in Chicago, I'm currently studying, in college and well I'm the only child from my parents."

"Are you from the hood?" Bless asked curiously.

"No, why?" She chewed on her salad.

"Because I see the streets in you. I see that behind all that classiness, the elegant look you wear, there is a ratchet, ghetto chick inside." He said looking at her deep in the eyes.

Felicity didn't say anything. She was speechless because Bless was actually right. There was a point in her life where she was one of those ratchet and bitchy-like hood chick from the streets. Those type of girls who were loud and nobody wanted to mess with. But she left that life in the past. She couldn't be and do what she wanted if she showed her real self to others. She just couldn't and had to accept it unless her buttons were pushed.

"Um lets leave that now" she said getting uncomfortable"

"So um, what about you?" She asked looking down at her food.

"What about me?" He chuckled
"You from Chicago but you never heard about me?" He said shocked. No one in Chicago doesn't know the name of Brion Bless King. This was the man who was wanted all over. Feared by everyone he knew him. He refused to believe that she didn't know him. The was no way in hell she didn't know who he was.

"I have heard few things about you that weren't appeasing, I guess. " She spoke honestly.

"But I want to be the judge of how I see you as a person." She smiled. If she wanted her mission to be a success she needs to play her cards right and make him to slip away from her.

Bless was surprised and somewhat happy. This is the first time he came upon a girl that wasn't interested in his money or came with intentions towards him. That's what he at least hoped.

"OK then. I'll let you be. Um I have to go now. Sorry for this but this is important. He was looking at his Rolex watch and then stood up. He took out his wallet and took out a 300 bucks. Felicity noticed he was paying for the entire meal and the money he took out was extra.

"Um you don't have to pay for me, I got it." She insisted.

"Nah ma, I'll handle it."

Felicity took her bag and headed to the door. They said their goodbyes. She looked at him getting on to his Lamborghini and speed off. She got into her car and went back home.

Laying bed,she kept thinking whether she should text him or not. Eventually she ended up texting him and told him she had a good time. Indeed she had a good time but she felt she didn't make any progress. Yes they talked but she had difficulty in knowing where did that get her.
As she turned off her light, her phone beeped. It was of course Bless.

*Me too, we should do it again*

Felicity smiled and said,

*Cool, but this time you gotta let me know about you.*

Bless replied,
*Alright, let's say something like a tour??*

*Perfect* texted with a grin.

Now she felt she has gotten somewhere.
