Chapter 1

"Listen here, I'm gonna ask you this one more time, where is Bella?" The detective asked

"And for the last time, I don't know" Bless answered. Leaning back to the plastic chair he was sitting on. The current reason he was here is because of a girl named Bella aka ones of his fuck buddies has gone missing. Yes he was behind it but he wasn't planning to let the office know that of course. It will take more than his intimidation for him to admit his doings.

As for Bella? Well let's just say she should have learned to know her place with him. Bella was one of the many girls Bless was involved with and the one who always gave him intense pleasure. Things where going good between until she threatened him to go to the police and sell him out if she didn't do what she wanted. And Bless being that type of a person he is, he wasted no time introducing Blake,(his gun) to Bella. He wasn't going to tolerate bullshit from anyone especially some hood hoe.

"And I'm gonna sue you if you don't release me immediately because we both know you don't have enough evidence to keep me here. So can I go now?"Bless asked calmly. The detective was testing his patience and if he didn't release him sooner, he was going to blow up this place. He had many things waiting for him back at his crib and every second his spending at this place counts. Time is being wasted.

The detective sighed, defeated. He hated to admit that Bless was right. If he kept him here he could loose everything he worked and his family could be left with nothing but poverty.

"Alright, free him" The detective said referring to the officers.

Blake grinned as he stood up. Saying he was happy was an understatement. He has done this before so the was nothing new. What keeps surprising him is that the police keep on focusing on him even though they all know that they are not going to get him.

The detective headed out of the room slowly thinking about how he is going to break the news to his new intern, who has been more than determined to bring him.

Felicity waited impatiently at the office, waiting for the detective to reveal to her that she has achieved something that she always dreamed since she was a kid. As the detective entered the door, her heart stopped. She couldn't even say anything but just looked at him with eager eyes.

The detective sighed and said "I'm sorry but unfortunately we had to free him, there's no enough evidence to keep him here."

"What!?" Felicity asked in a quiet but high voice. Nights and nights of researching and investigating has gone to waste before her eyes.

"But how, how can it be? All the pieces to the puzzle mixed together. He is involved, I know his" Felicity said refusing to accept that she lost. The was no way in hell she was going to accept defeat.

"Listen, no one has ever been able to defeat Bless, he's undefeatable. Its just how it is and always has been." The detective said politely. He has been on her position before and learned to accept how things always ended.

"No, the has to be way. There's always a way. There has to be something that we've always missed. The is way to get Brion King where we want him." Felicity thought.

"What is it? What are you thinking about?"

"I think I should go undercover"

"Undercover? As in like you gonna go around town and try to find information about him?"

"Not exactly." Felicity gave the detective a sneaky smile. He responded with questionable eyes.

"I'm gonna use him to give me information about him."

The detective laughed thinking that perhaps she was kidding.

"And how are you going to do that?" He asked somehow interested in what she has to say.

"I'm gonna gain his trust, lead him into believing that he can tell me everything, even his crimes. Yes it will be tough but anything to bring him to jail fine with him. "

Felicity gazed outside the window looking at the city. This could be big for her career. All of her work won't be for nothing and prove to her mom that she is not a worthless girl she says she is.
