Aria Brooks
I woke up to an empty room, at least, Douglas was gone. Brianna still slept peacefully.

That's what I noticed about her. She was a heavy sleeper.

I was beyond hungry, and luckily, I saved food from yesterday. I threw on my slippers and heated it up in the microwave, before sitting back down to feast.

Last night still replayed itself in my head, and I hated every memory of it. If I could've erased my memory, that'd be the first thing I erased.

There was a knock at the door, and I quickly checked my reflection in the mirror to make sure I looked presentable to be seen by anyone.

I rested my food on the drawer, next to my phone and headed to open it.

Upon opening the door, Douglas stood there with a plate in his hands.

He was somewhat shocked to see me awake, but I moved to the side to let him in. His food smelled like Heaven in a plate.

"If I knew you were gonna be up, I'd have brought you something." he said apologetically.

I smiled softly, "it's okay. I have some food what I saved."

"From the party?" he asked disgusted.

I nodded, about to take a bite, "why not?"

He stopped me from eating the food off the fork, "because it's horrible."

I frowned, "it doesn't smell that way."

He nodded, "bad food always smells good. Have some of mine."

I closed up my plate and peered into his bowl. He had rice, shrimp and sausages mixed together."

I scrunched my nose, "I don't like shrimp."

He chuckled, "I mean, the whole thing isn't shrimp, ya know."

I rolled my eyes, "yes, but I think it's best you eat your food in peace."

He sighed and pulled my arm, making me tumble onto the floor. He bit back a smile, before getting some food onto a new fork and pushing it into my mouth.

I chewed it hesitantly, before tasting the flavorful breakfast on my tongue.

"See?" he started, "I told you."

I smiled, "this is really good."

He chuckled, "yeah it is."

Brianna stirred in her sleep, and I shut my mouth, surprisingly not wanting her to wake up to me being fed by her brother. It would just be awkward.

He saw me looking, "do you wanna go to the cafeteria to eat instead?"

I looked back over at him, "why'd you ask?"

He raised a brow, "c'mon, anyone can see you're trying to not be seen by my sister."

I bit my lip, feeling embarrassed to how mean I probably seemed.

"Sorry," I said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

He shrugged it off, "whatever," he smiled, "let's just go."
