Later the next night at Layla's house, both Layla and Jughead are watching random shows on tv since there's nothing they really like. It's full of silence while they are watching The Bachelorette . Layla eventually breaks the silence.
Layla: "So, Jug. Do you like living here"
Jughead: "Yeah, it's nice staying here."
She puts her head on his shoulder.
Layla: "I love you, Jughead Jones."
Jughead: "I love you too, Layla Edinger."
Jughead leans in to kiss her while she's laying down. Everything feels so infinite to the both of them like no one can stop them. It's like they could not separate the whole night. Jughead and Layla ended up waking up next to each other naked in her bed the next morning.
