Saving Dylan

Chapter 10

Sabrina's POV 

We were all wandering about in the marketplace while Danny was giving the stick to someone from The Eye. Lula was ahead of us looking at stores with cute little souvenirs. 

"So when you had to act like a bimbo with Owen and basically full on have a make out session with him, Jack over here seemingly looked jealous." Merritt was telling me going back to when we did our failed Octa hijacking. 

"When you get a girlfriend and she has to be part of the plan to kiss someone who isn't you tell me how you feel?" Jack asked before grabbing me to be embraced. 

"I find it cute." I giggled through before he went to kiss my forehead and we started to catch up with Lula. When we did, Danny was running towards us. 

"Hey guys! I just saw Dylan, something happened." He said. 

"What do you mean?" I asked. Danny then explained what happened with Walter getting all the needed information to trick Danny to think he was talking with the Eye. I then looked over to another alley to see Walter and a few of his men. I poked Jack on the side and pointed over before he asked, "what are they doing?" 

Danny pointed out that they were Walter's men and that they still wanted the stick which he still had. 

"What the hell? How do you still have that?" Lula asked. Before Danny could answer her question, Merritt interrupted to bring up that they had Lionel Shrike's safe. 

"Guys their leaving." I said starting to see them get in and start their cars. 

"We gotta follow the truck." Jack said before we got into our car which was hand fully parked near us before following the truck to a dock. We got out of the car before hiding behind some storage units to look out to see Arthur and Walter. 

"Walter is Arthur's son." I said putting the two together to see to evil bastards. We then witnessed the safe go into the water before seeing Arthur, Walter, and the guards leave before we headed to save. 

"I'm guessing they put Dylan in the safe for reasons." Lula said and I nodded my head before I saw Danny jump in. 

"He'll be ok, right?" I asked Jack who was right beside me. 

"He will babe." He said before pulling me closer. We waited where Danny jumped up before we saw resurface. Jack and Merritt helped him up before we all knelled around him.   

"Dylan." We all said. 

"Come on buddy, breathe." Jack said before Danny started to press on his chest causing Dylan to spit water out and start coughing. His eyes opened and we all breathed out. 

"You're okay." I muttered. 

"Jesus! You scared the hell out of us, man." Jack said. 

"You alright, bro?" Merritt asked. We then help Dylan stand up with Danny helping him balance. We all thanked him for his bravery before I saw Jack looking at the stick. 

"Something wrong, hun?" I asked him. 

"It's fake." Jack said.
