It's 3022. Russia's been under siege against what's left of the United States, whom of which has resulted into using biological weapons and biological warfare to tear the communist regime down as quickly as possible. Being dubbed the Super War, these two superpowers have been tearing at each other since 2305. Russian scientists have been attempting to capture and contain the virus starter with very little success. That is, until one young woman comes in, eyes blackened and bloodshot, holding her shoulder as she approaches the complex. She's taken in to be studied, and these scientists find a biological "flaw" in her DNA pattern, causing an influx of a rabid cell that they call "Killer Zed". After several experiments and scans, it turns out that this woman is a mutant caused by this biological disease that was given to the Russians by their enemies. She is shown to have heightened sense of ability as well as higher brainwaves and frequencies, however, has been shown to have highly dangerous bouts of anxiety, rage, and compulsive obsession over random items and people.
Three years later, scientists are close to figuring out how this mutant piece of DNA is affecting the woman and how she's lived so long with it, until one day, they find her room empty of a subject. Upon going out into the cold exterior, they see that the world has fallen apart around them, and their only means of understanding this biological disease has escaped into the shattered remains of this diseased country.
