August 7, 2011.

The Lofts at Normandy. Miami Beach, FL.

1:13 am.

As I lay on my bed finalizing the itinerary for the trip to Barbados for the shooting of "Can't Get Enough", I was also responding to business emails on my Blackberry, filling out next month's calendar of appearances in my planner, using my iPhone to Skype with Trey's creative director Natasha about the ideas for Trey's social media outlets, and eating a bag of microwave popped kettle corn which was my dinner for the night.

My multi-task skills were on point and not a soul could tell me any different. Simply because this was my life 24/7, I was always doing more than one thing at a time. All I know is chaos. The only time I wasn't doing more than one thing at a time was when I was sleeping and even then I was dreaming about all the things I had to do when I woke up. And just to be clear, sleep is a rare.

"Expanding on Trey's Angels as the brand is the idea. We've been doing a lot of searching and the number of Angels is steadily increasing so I really think a platform for them to connect with Trey other than the official site is the way to go. We're still in the early stages of figuring out exactly what this platform will be but within the next two months we want to have something concrete."

I nodded, "I like the idea of that because you know the way they support Trey is beyond amazing. They do the meet ups and they're like a big family so maybe some type of forum for them to have access to would be dope. I'll definitely let Trey know and see what he says and if he has any ideas."

"Okay well I'll be keeping you posted; I just wanted to let you know the latest with the social outreach. How's everything down in Miami?"

"How do I look?" I struck a pose placing my right hand behind my head while I made sure to angle my phone the right way.

"Like you need a week's worth of sleep."

We both laughed as I grabbed some popcorn out the bag and ate it, "Well then everything is going great."

"Which is why you have the same nail polish on from last month?"

"You can't verify that."

She laughed shaking her head, "For real though Ci, don't over exhaust yourself."

I sighed knowing where this was going. Every once in a while, Natasha would get into mommy mode and try to regulate my time. I appreciated her for it though because I knew that she was right, but it was always easier said than done. I didn't have a normal job and I had the responsibility of taking care of someone who didn't have a normal job. There was never enough hours in a day and she of all people knew what it was like.

"I tell Trey this but the same goes for you too. Sometimes you just need to take a day and chill. I was there once so I know how it can be but all you have to do is ask, he'll understand," Natasha encouraged with a small smile.

"I know he would, that's not the problem."

"So then what is?"

"I love doing what I do so it doesn't seem to exhaust me. But I promise that when I feel myself getting to that point, I'll take a few hours off."

She narrowed her eyes, "CiCi."

"Okay I'm just playing; I'll take a day or two. But seriously for right now, we working!"

"Yeah okay, you better," she retorted. "And after you take some time off we'll see what we can do about finding you a man."

"Oh no, not this again. I already told you..."
