I'm too focused on the little circles I'm writing on his torso to be in a conversation. He tries though, but hooking up honestly makes me tired.

"Aye, Gee. Have you heard anything from Bree lately?" He tries again, and this time I answer.

"Oh, you mean my favourite Kiwi?" I smirk before realising he can't see it, "Only the fact that she is getting married in a month or two. I'm supposed to help her preparing, but she understands my job is important right now."

"Wait, she's getting married?" I nod, "Isn't she like our age?"

"Keneti." I look up at him, "Keep in mind that she's a year older than I am, thus 2 years older than you."

"Right." He smiles back at me, "It's really strange to hear my full name, y'know. People rather call me by my stage name."

"Such a shame."

"It does sounds nice when you say it."

He kisses my hair and it throws me back to reality. I exhale deeply before I sit up, covering my breasts with his light duvet.

"I've got to go." I say as get out of the bed.

I pick up some of my scattered clothes while I hear him sit up. I close my eyes, holding back the tears that are coming up.

"Why are you leaving?" He inquires, a certain sadness laced in his voice.

"That's what you do after a hook-up, Keneti. The party that came, leaves." I explain while dressing, "Besides, I have an early flight tomorrow."

I button my blouse before slipping on my loafers. I go back up to the bed, where Keneti is following every move I make. I hover over him with my hand against the wall as I press my lips onto his for a goodbye kiss.

"I'll find my way out." I grin as I pull back.

I turn around smirking while leaving a flushed Keneti behind.

I roll left to right in my hotel bed, but I can't find the right position to sleep. That, or my mind keeps taking me back to that ginger dude. Well, dark ginger.

I sigh as I sit up and ignite my bed lamp. I should at least try to put my mind onto something else. So I take my phone and start typing a text to Bree. I mean, it's only 1am over here, so around 9pm in New Zealand.

I'm bored... Entertain me :)

I scroll through Instagram as I wait for a reply of my best friend. It's strange how we don't see each other that much anymore while I was basically living with her on my semester out there. We instantly became sisters.

My phone buzzes in my hand, pulling me back to reality. Hmm, that happens a lot lately. I open the text and I immediately grin.

Why don't you go entertain yourself, fuck tard? You can suck a fart out my arse, ya wanker.

I could really hear her say the whole thing with that thick accent of hers. Which only brings me back to Keneti, since he has the same accent.

Fuck.

I need some distraction... Please?

She replies almost instantly by calling me to facetime. I sigh as I accept her call.

"You fucking wanker." She greets me, "I was on a date night with Manu."

"Oh, I'm sorry." I reply sarcastically, "I didn't know your fiancé was more important than your best friend."

"Well, of course he is."

"Now I'm hurt."

"Shut up." She laughs, "What do you even need distraction from?"

"In what city am I now?"

"Vancouver? Oh..." Realization hit her hard, "You met up with Keneti. Like met up."

She wiggles her eyebrows and I really wish that we were talking in person, because I would've smacked her so hard.

"I kept my promise, y'know. I just- I kinda left really quick with the excuse of my early flight, but you know I would've given everything just to spend some more time with him, not hooking up."

"I still can't believe you agreed to that deal."

"I never thought we would ever see each other again. Let alone, be in the same city."

"How was it though? On a scale from one to Arnie, because we both know how heavenly Arnie was."

"Way above Arnie."

"What?" She shouts, causing me to be fully awake once more, "How is that even possible?"

"Let's just say he really does wonders with his tongue."

"Oh, gross, Gee."

She covers her eyes with her other hand as she pretends to throw up. It amuses me somehow, but it just keeps reminding me of him.

It takes a few minutes for her to stop being grossed out and to give me her full attention again.

"Where is Manu anyway?" I ask and she smiles as she hears his name.

"He went for a jog because you ruined our date night." She perks up, "I know what you can do to get distracted!"

"What?"

"Well, I want some delicious chocolate desserts at my wedding, and what's better than to make them with that brown gold of that country of yours. So maybe you can call someone and arrange it?"

"Yeah, of course." I roll my eyes, "Because I really have the number of someone working for one of the Belgian chocolate companies."

"You'll figure it out. It'll keep you distracted."

I take my laptop and open it. I rest my phone against the left side of my screen as it turns on for my password. I quickly enter it and immediately the internet browser to search for Belgian chocolate companies.

"I hate you." I reminisce the end of the conversation.

"Ooh, love you too, wanker." She laughs, "When are you flying in though?"

"The 28th of July. About two weeks before your soon to be amazing wedding."

I put the phone number of the first company in my phone.

"Look, Bree. I gotta go." I say, "Need to get this chocolate in New Zealand."

"Okay! Oh, look Manu just got home. Bye, George."

She hangs up and I take the opportunity to call several chocolate companies, yet I stop when my clock strikes 3:39, and I turn off everything to catch up on some z's to wake up only 2 and a half hours later.
