I woke the sound of my radio clock playing California girls by Katy Perry. I did my daily morning routine. You know the same old usual, brushing out my wavy pink candy floss hair, stick candy in my hair and the main accessory is a lollipop, and a scoop of mint ice cream with sprinkles on top. I also wore my orange sugary tutu, lovely pink gummy converse, and my blue cotton candy crop top. I know what you are thinking, what in the heck kind of person wears all that junk? First off I am not a person, I am a candy being, and no I am not eatable, humans could actually die if they tried to eat our flesh because their sugar level can go so high it would kill them. Second this is my passion for how I express myself in my fashion. Anyway I finished getting dressed and went down to eat a bowl of sugar before I left my house. I walked down Greyston Ave. which is the same street me and my besties, Honey, Creamilla, and Candy all live on.
"Hey, good morning Sugar," Honey said waving at me.
"Good morning girls," I said waving back.
"Ready to go to the new human school?" Creamilla squealed and waving some jazz hands.
I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Uh no that place is dull, just like this city, I mean look at it everything is either in colors black, white or grey."
"Maybe they have trouble getting color?" Candy said thinking so hard that you can see it on her face.
"Candy don't hurt yourself there," Honey glancing at Candy.
Candy nodded in reply.
"God this school year is probably gonna be so boring and dull just like the rest of the town itself," I whined like a five year old.
"Oh my god sugar you need to chill, you know what you need? A shopping spree down at Little Bee's Sugar Shop, that place always cheers you up girl," Honey said with a pearly white smile.
"Maybe you are right girl, I need some more sugary good fashion," I said smiling back.
We continued walking our way to school gossiping about the juicy celebrities, juicy looking clothes, admiring gorgeous colorful shoes, and dying for the hottest accessories.
As soon as we got to the school we realized how super dull and run down the school looked. there were a few cracks on the walls, a shattered window or two, grey boring brick building that looked like a prison, and a very tall black fence gate with barbed wire. To top off this dreadful school the kids wore black, white and grey colored uniform.
"They are wearing uniform?!" I shouted in shock.
"That is super depressing," Honey complained looking at all the students in uniform.
"Maybe we should bedazzle them up," Candy exaggerates while taking out her bedazzle gun.
"I don't think that is a good idea girl," Creamilla says with her hands on her hips.
The bell rings and me and my best friends don't have any classes together, sadly, except the last class of the day which was outrageous, I hope to see them during the break and at lunch.
"Mother of sweetness please let my day go better than I expect it to be," I said.
My girls and I walk in to the super creepy and dull school building and we lock arms to keep close and we walk down the hall together. As soon as one of us see our class we let go arms and go to our class. I was the last one to leave from our small group and went to class.
I peeked through the window and no one was even in class yet I was utterly in shock, I am the first one to be on time in class. I wondered if the class was open so I twisted the door knob, apparently it was. I opened the door and shut it behind me.
