I got into my first class which was Geometry. I noticed that the classroom had curtains to block out the sun from the window.
So no sunshine, or nature to look at great, I thought to myself.
I looked around and I also noticed there were also no posters or anything interesting in the class just a bunch of desks and an old chalk board.
This whole city needs a makeover I just need to figure out what I can do to make this city beautiful and great, hopefully the mayor can approve of some color at least, I thought even deeper into the subject.
The first bell rang and all the students were in there seats on time I was surprised no one was even late.
These poor souls have no life it's like it has been sucked out of them because of all the dull colors and boring strict rules, I thought looking around me seeing such sad faces. They need someone that can be great in their lives, someone that can bring bright colors and fun activities in this town. The teacher stood tall and held her head high, she looked seriously uptight. Her hair in a tight bun and wore a black dress not showing an inch of skin on her body.
"Good morning students," She snarled, and her nose flared a bit.
We all greeted her in return she had a good look at the classroom, but when she saw me, her face went from bitter to extremely sour.
"Why aren't you in uniform?" She questioned while raising a brow.
"I Just transferred here miss, I have not received any uniform," I said looking down embarrassed.
She said in a bitter tone, "You are excused for today then miss?"
"Sugar Rush," I hesitated.
"Yes miss Rush," She said then turned back to the chalk bored and began teaching us my most hated subject, geometry. It was nothing, but a bunch of shapes and angles and complicated problems.
We sat there in class spending our entire time in that period taking notes on all these angles and shapes, I was literally dying of boredom. I needed something to keep me busy while taking notes since all we are doing is copying everything down from a chalkboard. I quietly sneaked my earbuds out and sneaked them into my ears and then plugged them into my phone and began to play one of my favorite songs "Candy Man" by Christina Aguilar. I quickly looked at my class schedule and noticed there were a lot of super boring classes, I wonder if there are even any electives in is school, but probably not because they don't seem like the type of people to allow fun.
I kept my song as low as possible so that way no one else can hear it except me. I then continued to take notes however, the teacher came around the corner and pulled out one of my ear buds. It was pretty rude of her, she could of just tapped me on the shoulder not yank it out.
"Um, yes ma'am?" I said nervously twiddling at my fingers.
"No music, no colorful things, nothing fun okay miss rush?" she said stubbornly.
"Yes, miss... miss?" I said.
"It is miss Burlier" she said.
She snatched my ear buds away from me and exclaimed, "Focus on your notes then you can get these back after class okay, we are not trying to have fun we are getting our students here to be successful and have a brighter future."
I sighed and continued to do my work, I miss my poor ear buds, they kept me focus in class and I was fully awake with them in my ears blasting pumped up music.
- TEN MINUTES LATER-
I felt drowsy, my head felt like it was spinning, and my eyes felt heavy. Before I knew it my head slammed on the table and I knocked out cold. I heard my name being called but I didn't wake up till the bell rang.
I woke up and the Miss Burlier looked down at me in disappointment, I looked down in embarrassment as she handed me back my ear buds.
"leave miss rush," miss burlier bitterly told me while pointing towards the door.
I got up and left after she had told me that , she seemed pretty rude anyway. I went to my next class which was music, I also thought it would be fun, but it was boring as well since all of us were playing boring classical music, I am not a classical fan I am more jazzy or into rock, but classical just puts me to sleep. after another boring hour went by it was finally break. Thank goodness.
