Chapter 7: Peppermint Jack?!

"I can't afford anything right now," I said coming out of the dressing room, while putting back all the stuff I tried on.

"I can pay for it," Creamilla said smiling.

"Are you sure I wouldn't want you to spend your money on me," I said feeling bad.

"Girl, all of this cost twenty-five dollars in total," Creamilla said rolling her eyes.

"Obviously this place is the cheapest, but most fashionable place, like look at the wall, celebrities like Coco Diva, The Mayor, and-" Honey paused jaw dropped when she pointed at Peppermint Jack.

"Are you pointing at me?" Jack raised a brow pointing at himself.

I put Honey's arm down and dragged her aside and whispered, "we don't point Honey." 

I looked aside and caught a glance at Peppermint Jack's gorgeous features while he was talking to Blue, I was completely starstruck at the sight of him. His pastel pink skin,  his pink freckles, his hot pink well groomed hair and his red highlights, his lovely peppermint eyes. Jack took a small glance at me and smiled back at me, our eyes met for a moment, but then I looked away.

I felt like I was staring, was I staring? I thought to myself. 

I felt a light tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw it was Jack, he handed me my yellow gummy bear hair clip, "This fell out of your hair," He smiled at me with my clip in his hand.

"O-Oh thanks," I stuttered hesitating to get my clip, then putting it in my hair and made a small smile.

"Your welcome," He said and our eyes locked for a moment again till his phone buzzed, "I got to go, hey what's your name?"

"I'm Sugar Rush, you can just call me sugar" I said blushing.

"Sugar, sounds like a sweet name, I hope to see you around," He smiled, then exited the store.

I was ready to pass out my heart was beating fast, my face was red, and I felt butterflies flutter around in my stomach, and I couldn't hold the feeling any longer, but I had to wait till I was sure he was gone. 

"He is gone Sugar you can squeal now," Candy teased.

"Oh my rush you guys, he said he hopes to see me around and he said my name was sweet," I squealed so loud and group hugged all my friends. 

"That's so cute so when is the wedding?" Candy giggled.

"Hey we aren't even dating, what about Blue and Licorice's wedding?" I replied and we all turned heads at them.

"We don't even know if it should be an official thing," Blue pouted and Licorice held her.

"Well then make it official  you guys!" I shouted at Blue and Licorice.

"Okay okay, maybe later we will make it official, " Licorice muttered, and slightly annoyed that all of us wanted them to get together. We have been shipping a relationship to happen for them since the day they first met.

"Well we should be on our way, thank you Blue for everything, " Honey said smiling.

We all followed behind Honey and we got back into Creamilla car.
"Where to next ladies?" Creamilla smiled, while putting on her new juicy brand shades.

"How about we stop at the Candy Cafe, I would really love a rainbow frap right now," Candy suggested.

"Candy it is all about Hershey ice coffee," I  said chuckling.

"Uh ladies we all know it is about the vanilla bean ice coffee," Honey said in disagreement.

"Girls, girls please, it's all about the new kisses frap," Creamilla stated while driving.

-time skip-

"We are here" Creamilla cheered parking the car and swings her purse over her shoulder.

"You are so dramatic with that exit of your car Creamilla," Candy said rolling her eyes.

"Whatever, let's just go get our coffees and go take a walk in Candywood," Creamilla said with cheer.

"You mean where all of our favorite celebs are?!" I squealed the bit down on my lip, trying to hold back the screams of excitement.

"Uh, duh, where else would the celebrity babes be?" Honey teased.

All four of us rushed in line and as I took a glance at the line up ahead I see him again. It was Peppermint Jack and he was with Coco Diva, I saw them laughing and Coco seemed to be a little flirty. My stomach didn't feel right about seeing them, I guess you can say I was a little bit jealous.

"Are you okay Sugar you don't look right," Candy's voice full of concern, she looked at me and raised a brow.

"I will be fine, as soon as we get out of here," I choked on my words a bit.

The three of them looked in the direction I was looking at then looked back at me. They can see right through me that I was not okay. 

-time skip-

As soon as we all got our fraps and ice coffee's we got in the car and left. 

"Maybe them hanging out together is a total misunderstanding Sugar you never really know unless you get both sides of the story,"Creamilla spoke out while driving. 

"She is right girl you can't just make assumptions," Candy agreed.

"Honey what do you think?" I asked then looked in her direction.

"There could be two things that things looked that way, it is either real love or it is fake love for publicity," Honey stated.

We stopped and found a parking spot. As soon as we exited the car we took a stroll in Candywood for a bit. As we were strolling I bumped into him again.

Really?! How many times of today am I gonna bump into you, I thought to myself.

"Sorry about that Sugar,"Peppermint Jack said kindly.

"It's no problem," I said without looking him in the face.

My girls were standing there watching in awe as me and Jack just spoke to each other.

"Hey is something wrong?" He questioned, leaning his face a little closer to see my face.

"I'm okay," I raised my head facing up at him and made a small smile.

His face was a little too close to mine when I raised my head and he smiled back at me.

"Good, I wouldn't want to see any girl with a sweet name like yours sad," He smiled like an angel.

He leaned his forehead on mine and told me to take care of myself and walked away.

"That boy can be smooth, but probably a dangerous heart breaker who knows," Creamilla declared while looking at her bubble gum pink painted nails.

"Yeah, Sugar why didn't you tell him why you were upset?" Honey looked at me disappointed.

"I don't know, it is because I am just a fan and he is a celebrity, and stuff like that only happens in movies," I answered.

"Well we should get back home and remember girls we got candy accessories to sell when we get to school," Candy declared.

We ran back to Creamilla's car and headed back home, it was almost late at night and we could all get in trouble with our parents if we didn't come back home before dark.

I made it back on time and I went got dressed into my pajamas then went off to bed.
