Chapter 1- We're going to be late!

"I'm dead" moaned Jackie. "No your not, get up, we're going to be late!" Retorted Steph.

Jackie and Steph were roommates. Not just roommates though-Not even close. They were also best friends,inseparable since the tender age of 7. But 7 was a long time ago. They were both now in college together-WestMosarto College; A place for bright young minds to blossom into an extraordinary future for us all. Steph was an outstanding artist and Jackie was a genius. She was a mathematician, a scientist and a historian all squeezed into one body. Jackie's body that is. It was summer 2011 and Steph had organized a holiday for Jackie, Max, Cari, Josh, Sasha, Roxy, Alex and herself. They all had eachother. Alex and Max were best mates or as they called themselves 'partners in crime'. Cari and Sasha were 'besties'. Josh and Roxy were 'freak friends'. And of course Jackie and Steph were 'best friends'.

Steph gave Jackie a critical look as her phone pinged. "Who's texting you" asked Jackie looking up from her 'dead' position. "Alex" replied Steph absent-mindedly as she read the text message. 'Hey Steph! Me, Max, Josh and Roxy are all by the van and Cari and Sasha r on there way so r u and Jackie ready??? 🙄

 Jackie almost fell of the bed at the mention of one of her best friends...and crush's name. "Alex!? What did he say!?" She asked excitedly, "Oh nothing, just that he also has a huge crush on you and would love it if u two could date." Replied Steph calmly. "REALLY!?" Jackie squealed,"No" said Steph "but he did say he wanted you to hurry the hell up!" Jackie scrambled to her feet, grabbed her black hoodie and tied her hair up while talking hastily "Well, what are you just standing there for Alex is waiting. Honestly, Steph it's like you want us to be late!" Before Steph could lecture her-Jackie was already out the door.
