Today is Melody and Jason's 10th birthday, Melody is so excited to see her best buddy Jason.

But Jason on the other hand, well Jason is upset because today is the day he is moving from California to Atlanta and the worst part is he hasn't even told Melody yet.

Jason finished packing up his room and headed to his parents car he jumped in the back of the car picking up the purple teddy bear that he bought for Melody, when he arrived at her house he slowly climbed out of the car and Melody was already waiting out the front for him "don't be to long buddie, we've got a long drive ahead of us" his dad said to him.

Jason nodded and slowly walked over to Melody with her purple Teddy bear "hey Mel, happy birthday" he said as he handed the present to her "thanks Jase" she said as she handed him a remote control car "happy birthday".

Jason looked down and then back up at her "I have to go now, mummy and daddy said we're moving." Melody looked at him as she started to tear up "when are you going?" "now" he whispered.

"Don't go!" she screamed as he climbed back into the car "you ready to go matie?" his dad asked patting him on the knee "yes daddy" Jason replied and with that they drove away leaving Melody in the arms of her parents screaming his name.

Jason looked back as a tear slipped from his little eyes "goodbye Mel, I'll never forget you".
