(McKenzie's P.O.V)
"Let go of me!!" I yelled over and over while trying to get out of Andrew and Baileys tight grip on my arm.
"Let go!"
"Shhh. It's going to be over soon." Bailey said in a soft but scary tone.
"Yes. We should be thanking you" Andrew said with a slight smile.
"What are you talking about! What's going on! Please! Let me go!"
They then brought me to the little shacks outside of the school. I've always wondered what was in those.
Once we entered the shack I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There was a table in the middle of the room that had blood splattered all over it. There was also big knives laying around the floor. Elliot was standing near the table while everyone else was standing around it but far away.
"What...Elliot...what's happening?" I stuttered.
No one said a word as Andrew and Bailey threw me on the table. Elliot then began strapping my arms and legs down.
I then seen Elliot pull out the knife.
"Help!!!" I screamed.
Elliot then put a gag in my mouth and began to speak.
"Today, might be that day. The day when it ends. The day when we can go back to our normal lives." He began to speak like he was in a church.
"Today we sacrifice this girl to bring back our peace."
When I heard that I then began to cry and cry because there was no way getting out of this.
"Let this be the one!" He shouted looking up at the sky. "When we sacrifice this girl, let us have our lives back! Every morning, we sacrifice, let this girl be the one!"
What are they doing? They can't actually believe that if you sacrifice someone that this will all go away. Right? What is happening!?
"Thank you." They all said at the same time looking at me.
I began to cry harder.
Elliot then took the gag out of my mouth and asked "Any last words"
"You can't do this! It's not going to work. We can find a cure somehow just please not this!" I said quickly before he put the gag back in my mouth.
He smiled and brought the knife up in the air above me. The others all began to sing a tone that wasn't pleasant. I cried over and over. Breathing heavily as my heart pounded and pounded. The knife came closer and closer to where my heart was. He was going to cut me open, but he's doing it slowly. I began to squirm, trying to get free.
"Don't Move" he said while
the others all began to chant "sacrifice!"The knife was just about to cut my chest when...
"Stop!!"
